I think she traded eggs for cash. Good for her if so, that ex is a shit human being for doing that to her.

Nick is an odd guy. His main interest in Sofia when they were dating was to use her an a advertisement for his crunchy onion snack product produced by his family. He is reportedly the size of a 500ml water bottle and has Sofia hooked on the meat stick.
If you see her with Joe out to lunch they look like coworkers eating together with little in common.
