Sara Bareilles is playing Ariel, not Lohan. You don't have to be an actual redhead to play a redhead's part, and Sara is draw to people who like actual singing, Lohan would be a draw to people who like to watch Russian driver cams and American Idol auditions, so this would be a not Hollywood Bowl rendition, maybe one a knockoff show on the Santa Monica pier.

Well, maybe if they played it from the angle of, Ariel moved to L.A. or New York and the smog/pollution immediately and rapidly started to physically degrade her.
I mean she made a great Elizabeth Taylor so I will give her that. And her true Long Island colors are showing. Mean Girls was a big part of my freshman year in college. LiLo you do you girl.
