Blind Item #11

The foreign born former A list boy bander was never offered the role everyone is saying he turned down. It was a way to save face and no one is ever going to say he wasn't offered it because they might need him down the road for something else.

    1. This is supposed to be Harry Styles playing Prince Eric. And this is not true.

  4. I think he would have made a great little mermaid.

  6. He’s unattractive these days. He insists on walking around with a little tiny half shaven beard and moustache. It even shows up in his Gucci ads. No, just no.

  7. I knew it as I read the article that he was lying. Wouldn't see it if he became the prince anyway. Ewww.

    Harry Styles .
no...Sony doesn't know what to do with him.
He's in year 4 of a 7-yr contract Huge mistake.
Harry keeps signing his life away to all the wrong people.

  9. But that was obvious. It's very strange news that he wanted 40 million for the movie and suddenly simply refuses.

  12. Agree 100%, Gen-z99.

Harry's also missing two things that drive successful actors: the need to get paid (Harry has more money than he'll ever need) and the need for public adoration (he had much more of that than he wanted at the peak of One Direction's success.)

Also, while I support his journey to find out whatever gender expression works for him, it doesn't make him a very bankable actor. Even openly gay actors like Neil Patrick Harris or Matt Bomer have relatively anodyne looks that can adapt to a variety of characters.

Harry looks....odd. And it's unlikely that the Little Mermaid production team, having cast a nontraditional choice for the lead, were going to go with another nontraditional choice for Prince Eric.

  13. Talentless balding no mark who got lucky. Cowell used him for a boy-band and Swift used him to cover for her G.F. Made millions and know spends his days on Geffen's yacht.
