Today's Blind Items - Tithing For Underage Sex
Apparently it is not just the Catholic priests that have a history of child molestation. In fact, one of the most prominent televangelists this country has ever known has an issue that hit really close to home. There is an offspring of this televangelist who married someone who is on television and social media every day preaching. She asks for money on a daily basis. What no one ever brings up to her or asks her about are the hundreds of text messages and sexts she sent underage boys, some of whom were as young as 15 years old asking them for sex. She did this while married. She never talks about or is asked about the 16 year old who had sex with her nine times. That is the only one who has come forward. I would love to hear from all the others. Maybe she can say she was ministering to them.

An older male friend of mine told me he was at his small nondenominational church one day, and was talking to a woman who had a small child with her - about 5 or 6. She walked up to him and started unbuckling his belt! He was totally freaked out. She was a foster child, and her family was part of the mega church leadership.
Oh it was Louisiana, Swaggartville, but not same church.

You guys have gone to some awful churches it seems. I have been to many Baptist/ Catholic services growing up and NONE of the leaders or members were creepy. I feel bad for you guys LOL.

Sam, my friend who was the witness told the elders at the church - of course nothing happened. I actually know the woman that the young girl has become. She ran from the church when she was 16. They had kept her in isolation because she was bucking them. Last time I saw her she was singing in a bar and had had a baby. I think in her case, she just wanted to GTFO. If you knew how corrupt and disgusting the police are in small parishes in Louisiana, you would understand why she didn't want to pursue it. I think getting out is enough sometimes. Once you get involved in litigation it takes over your life. Unfortunately I have experience in that realm.

In a sociology class, we had to do a paper on sexual abuse of children. There were articles written by both Protestant and Jewish clergy who could not understand why the focus was all on the Catholic church when their faiths were experiencing widespread sexual abuse with their ministers and rabbis as well.
@abbyrock just few days ago, 40 students from Yeshiva University (a jewish university) came out with a sexual abuse lawsuit. barely any news on it. They said the children of holocaust survivor's were targeted. It is so sad.
Its easy to target the Catholics, I think, because of their vows of celibacy, so people kind of expect it and its not quite so shocking. Like they have "an excuse"
My husband lived next door to that televangelist from Tulsa. Their home was in Newport Beach. He said that so-called God fearing man would beat his kids when he would come home from working in Tulsa. My hubbie said it was so bad that his Mom would have to close the windows so the screaming and crying wouldn't be heard inside the house. Disgusting.

Also vatican's third in command, treasurer , was recently sent to prison for pedophilia. His job was to manage the money and launder mafia money as well. Maybe they are losing their grip on humanity? Our forefathers were very wary of the "papists" .......guess the inquisitions were not such far distant history that it was forgotten/shoved under the rug. TeeHee@U You just aren't aware of the lurid, nasty little secrets of those church members. Usually, the louder a person condemns certain behaviors, the more they have to hide. Most churches are full of the guilty. They tend to fear for their souls and overcompensate. It all makes sense really. The guilty aren't very bright in the first place, considering they totally believe all of the bullshit they are told by the preacher.
This is 100% Franklin Graham Jr. and his wife. They have a. history of giving young men a leg up if you will... Both the pool boy ion Florida and their VERY young personal trainer who was recently a student at Liberty have both been given tons of money from them.

Makes it infuriating when one wolf is in the midst, it can ruin people's trust and faith in the good.
It's like a crowd of mostly good people with a few pedos mixed in. Would you send your child to stand with them? Let's install some security cameras in churches to keep an eye on the clergy because obviously the angels are too busy to watch them.
