Two Hours Of Pool Time And Eight Hours Of Joe Jackson Time
When I saw that Michael Jackson's three kids were spending some time with their friends at a pool on Saturday that made me really happy. I want them to have as normal of a life as they will ever have under the circumstances. It was only when I read where the kids were playing that I realized the two hours of splashing at the pool might not be how they spent the majority of the weekend.
You see, the kids spent their pool time at The Palms hotel. Yes, that same spot where Joe Jackson calls home. I'm guessing the kids spent two hours in the pool as break from 8 hours of Joe Jackson time. Who doesn't think he is rehearsing something with them? On Saturday night Jermaine went to dinner with them because he also just happened to be staying at The Palms. Something is going on here and I don't think it has children's best interest written all over it.
I will on a positive note say that Katherine Jackson was at the pool the entire time watching the kids. Yes, she had a friend with her and a nanny, but she did go to the pool and stay the whole time instead of just leaving the job to employees. Or it could have been she knew that if she left them alone Joe would come and drag them back to rehearsals.

I hope MJ set aside some money for all the therapy those kids are going to need.
Years ago, Mrs. Jackson did an interview where she said that LaToya didn't leave the house unattended and played with dolls and wore sailor dresses until she was 27 years old.
The children's lives will be different now, but no less weird.
ENT: Mrs Jackson has a mansion in Vegas that Janet Jackson bought her years ago. Latoya also has a house there and Joe Crazy Jackson also has a home there separate from Mrs Jackson's or Latoya's homes, he may spend time at the hotels but he actually has a house there.
I'm betting the kids went with their grandma to her Vegas house but get to spend time at the hotels (where MJ had shares in some of the hotels)in fact when Paris went to the high end salon to get her hair done (got a cut) she went with Jackie Jackson's wife, her tutor and a Palms hotel security guy.
is there a chance the kids saw Joe while there? well yes but not staying with him, and only IF he's currently in Vegas he's probably somewhere else promoting his "never will come real" label and other crap..

You know, the statement about LaToya not leaving the house unattended makes sense if you look at the Jehovah Witness docterne. I remember working with someone eons ago who would leave JW recruiting literature in the breakroom. One was about a dating couple who ALWAYS had a chaperone with them, and how much the girl appreciated that the suitor wanted her to remain "chaste" and didn't have a problem with the chaperone. So, I can see how with maybe being JW and coupled with their crazy childhood, something like that might happen...
Yeah, but come on....playing with dolls? Emily Bronte grew up even more sheltered and still managed to churn out Wuthering Heights with all its seething understated sexuality....
The interview was from one of those Dateline type programs around the time Latoya married that sleazy older guy. Mom said that she and Latoya were best friends and that she rarely left her mother's side and didn't have any other friends. She seemed to be worried about what would happen to Latoya.
Conversations akin to brendalove's last comment are the reason I come here. You will never see anyone reference Wuthering Heights on TMZ or Perez, lol!

Katherine Jackson enabled Joe Jackson and kept having children with him. She's almost as bad as he is. Let's not forget that.

100 percent. The way I see it is katherine could have and should have stopped the ugly bastard from abusing her children. But she didn't.. Can't she at least keep the creepy the old fart from harming Michael's children??
