This C+ list actor who divides his time between movies and television has almost A list name recognition. he also knows a thing or eight about drugs which is why his actress daughter should have listened when her dad staged an intervention. The problem is that the boyfriend of the actress doesn't think she has a problem so the actress bailed and isn't talking to the dad right now.

He played a lawyer on Young & The Restless last year for awhile. H has guest starred on CSI.
He is a work horse he will do anything for a paycheck.
But I don't think Emma really has any relationship with Eric. Her mother raised her as a single parent.
If he did try and stage an intervention, I could see why she would be pissed. You weren't there for me as a child so fuck off i'm an adult now Parenting not needed.

Holy crap! Eric Roberts has a ton of stuff lined up. Though most of it is prob crap, but still. But, yeah he has done tons of tv and movies.
His most famous role was on tv - Sharktopus!
Don't forget his voice over on "A Talking Cat!?!", where he voices the titular cat, having apparently recorded his lines in a phone booth.
If you're in the mood for a family movie that spends a lot of time looking at the torso of two muscular teenage boys, playing La Cucaracha and doing crappy CGI to move the mouth of the cat, this is the perfect movie for you.
I almost fainted when I saw Eric Roberts on Y & R just a few weeks ago......
Man has to make a living. Just checking his IMDB he is the hardest working man in Hollywood, well the paycheques are not as big anymore so gotta work harder to maintain the standard of living.
Eric Roberts also had a recurring role on Heroes as the boss of the Horn Rim Glasses guy, and starred in his own sitcom with Sara Rue some years back. He's actually pretty good at comedy. He'll do anything.
He was also the answer to a blind item here about the dad of an underage (at the time) actress who called around Hollywood clubs and threatened them with all kinds of hell if they served his daughter. Go Eric!

Eric Roberts has struggled with sobriety so I can see him trying to help Emma from falling in the same trap. But as someone said, he wasn't really there for her so how close can they be for him to state an intervention or know she needs one unless he heard it through the grapevine?
