Blind Item #8- Kindness

On a recent flight, this former A list tweener actor who is now a B+/A- list mostly movie actor who has had some issues had a flight attendant faint right in front of his seat. The actor jumped up and was the first to help and gave up his seat for her and because it was a full flight had to stand for almost two hours until she felt well enough to get up and go back to a jump seat.

The actor help the flight attendant?

They wouldn't let someone stand on a flight like that.... Unless it was in the middle of a long flight at cruise altitude, but still... Odd.

Zac is so darn cute. Sincerely.

But 2 hours?

I call this one bullshit. The other flight attendants would have made him seat on a flight seat.

I call bs as well. A passenger can not absruct an aisle in case of emergency. While they don't normally allow a passenger to ride in a jumpseat it is known to happen.

Since when is normal human decency referred to as "kindness"?

CoBe said...

Or even worse, it seems more likely he just wanted the flight attendant out of the aisle so he could go to the bathroom.

I call BS too...There's a seat in the cockpit where she could sit AND get oxygen. Also there can sometimes be, on longer flights, a crew seat reserved. But knowing the fucking airlines now they're probably gonna make adults laps as well in the future.

This is either BS, or highly exaggerated. No way would a paying passenger (probably in first class) have to stand for 2 hours for a crew member. Maybe 2 minutes. But yeah, I'll go with the consensus it's Efron.

Seven of Eleven said...

@Basil, are you accusing E of exaggeration?! :b

He stood for two hours? Was this on a plane or a bus?

msgirl said...

Yes gross exaggeration!

Sherry said...

LOL JBE..years ago when flights were so cheap we F/A's started saying it was safe to go to the bus station again.

If flight attendant was a guy I think effron could work.

MinPinGirl said...

BS no way they're gonna let a passenger stand in the aisle for 2 hours.

Must type an unspeakable "ROTFL" over the rampant CDAN mass sanity phenom & resulting comments! And is it just me, or is this at least the 2nd Film Actor "Kindness" BI post of the week to sound more like the concept for a potential meet-cute in a Romcom treatment?

Heroine faints/breaks ankle right in front of our Hero--who is not just omg-Heroic, he's a superhot, world-famous Movie Star--who not only leaps to her assistance, but does it in an OTT fashion that causes him unnecessary discomfort which he bears with charming, & impeccable gallantry. He's smitten. She hates him (for some adorable-kooky reason). Um, he enlists the help of her quirky BFFs to win over our Heroine....

Ohhh! OK. I get it; this is fun. The AltEnts haven't held a BI-writing contest, yet? Kindness blinds, Outings, druggy hijinks... please?

As a flight attendant, I can assure you that this definitely did not happen. A passenger would never be allowed to stand for that long, and they are not allowed to sit on jumpseats.
