Scotty Bowers and his book about being the sex fixer to Old Hollywood? This might be referencing that Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn bearded for each other but I'm not sure I'm reading this correctly.
The Scotty Bowers book came out in 2012, though. It isn't new or recent.

There's a recent Netflix documentary by Matt Tyrnauer who supposedly has researched the claims made in Scotty Bowers' 2012 book. He was able to contact people who are still alive who did Bowers' bidding for clients back in the day.

I believe the book is 'Hollywood Babylon Strikes Again' by Darwin Porter & Danforth Prince. It is just been published (in hardback.) It's on my wishlist and I guess waiting until a cheaper copy came up. I won't bother to now.

Darwin Porter & Danforth Prince also published a book in Dec 2017 called Rock Hudson Erotic fire.
