I agree on Demi for this. In terms of career though there's nothing wrong with directing or producing. She's done both.

Weird was watching Ghost yesterday and thinking how she really had something-it was a special film,and she was perfect in it..(yes even the shameless use of “Unchained Melody).

Demi has produced some wonderful performances, I think she is too fragile now to enter the race again.
Everyone loves a comeback, so who knows. I wouldn't be surprised to see her bubble up somewhere.
Her daughters all have issues; one has an eating disorder, another is a drug addict, and the third is obsessed with plastic surgery.
Why are celebrity kids just so insanely fixated on creating their own fame? I realize social media is a big thing and you're kind of already famous due to your parents so don't know much else, but whatever happened to these people, with tons of money, encouraging their children to strive for their best in their academic achievements and pursue careers outside of the entertainment world. I'm sure there are plenty, but they could be doctors, scientists, teachers, computer programmers, or they could devote their life to charitable causes. I mean it seems as though any child of a celebrity who isn't more than 90% ugly seems to want a career as a model, a reality star, and actress, etc...
Girls tend to favor their fathers looks-wise. It's really hard to come up with female offspring as attractive as the mother -- if the father isn't also truly handsome. And the kinds of features which make men attractive on-screen don't typically translate well to females. Sadly, looks don't breed intelligence. What else do these kids do with their shallow lives other than try to fake their way in front of a camera?
Demi tanked her own career with some lame decisions. Striptease? GI JANE? And she had cut her teeth with some great features beforehand but she just both made bad choices and was obsessed with re-inventing herself in a way that didn't work. It is too bad.

One of the girls has drug issues but I can't figure out which has an eating disorder (none of them look unhealthy anyway) and none of them look like they've had plastic surgery at all.
Demi could make a come back. She has a lot of friends still in Hollyweird. She probably simply doesn't want to.

Sorry, that's the funniest thing I've read in a long while. I guess if you just look at Rumer's face as it is now it's not noticeable, but if you compare it to her original face... (I don't know if the others have had surgery too - I don't care enough about them to look it up.)
She's on HBO's Animals this season. It's animated but she's in live action framing scenes. She probably shot her whole part in a day or two.

i first saw her on 'general hospital' and she was heavier but still made you go 'who is THAT?' she was beautiful when she was young. she was never much of an actress but she got away with it well. i think there are a lot of reasons for her not acting anymore. not just her icky kids.

I am pretty sure Kate Hudson and her brother (whatever his name is) both have stable and lucrative enough careers that Goldie isn't too involved. Demi sounds more like it. Those poor girls don't seem to have a ton of talent...

Let's not ignore the pills part of the blind, getting completely doped up doesn't help with parenting or acting. Or at least not the acting, turn that f!ckin' power wheels off! ;)

Not everyone who has an eating disorder looks unhealthy (most bulimics are normal weight). Tallulah willis had and ED and drug problems, she even gave interviews about it
