Lisa repped Harvey initially. Gloria repped Harvey's victims and told them that their best option legally and emotionally was to settle and sign non-disclosure agreements. This goes back years. Gloria and Lisa are part of the cadre of people that allowed Harvey to operate the way he did for all that time prior to Ronan Farrow's article in The New Yorker and and Meghan Twohey and Jodi Kantor at the NYT, which outed Harvey as a creepy sexual predator, causing a momentous cultural shift (#MeToo)
@JT0130 I felt the same way after I read "She Said" the great back story of the monumental Harvey Weinstein article in the NYT, only two years ago, which ignited the explosion of similar accounts called #metoo.
I think its definitely Lisa Bloom. Rose McGowan credits as being behind the PR to make her seem crazy due to her Weinstein accusations. Comedian Kathy Griffin has accused her of doing some unethical things, although not related to Weinstein.
It appears there WAS a concerted PR effort by both Allred and Bloom (and others) to discredit Rose McGowan's claims against Weinstein. Bloom for years portrayed herself as a defender of women's rights but took on Harvey as a client presumably because he paid her a lot of money. As a defense tactic against mounting sexual harassment claims, she proposed maligning alleged victims' characters and mental stability, including that of Rose McGowan who was out front of the #MeToo movement. Though Gloria publicly spoke out against her daughter for taking on Weinstein as a client, she had been quietly prevailing upon her clients who accused him of sexual misconduct that their best option, professionally and emotionally, was to settle and sign an NDA so they could get on with their lives and careers. Gloria was successful in sweeping many accusers and their allegations under the rug during the time her daughter represented Weinstein.
Gloria Allred and Lisa Bloom are not women. They are human remora fish. Remora attach themselves to sharks and eat their shit. They don't do anything else. They just suck shit out of other people.
