Mydog, I agree. Her downfall was mostly due to bad politics, not just with #metoo but a lot of other foolishness. She should have kept her nose clean and just stick to acting. Just a few years ago she was the most popular actress in town. Her fall from grace was stunning! Nobody even talks about her anymore.
I never saw her as being particularly beautiful or talented (at least not as an actress) to have climbed up the Hollywood ladder as quickly as she did. Even actresses who worked hard on the casting couch weren't so lucky. Have to give her kudos for that.
How about acting lessons?

She was GREAT in Winters Bone and that should have launched a great career anyway not to mention being great in the first 2 Hunger Games. Her problem was taking roles she wasn’t mature enough for even though it landed her an Oscar. I hope she gets a comeback

Jennifer's a good actress (see winter's bone), but most of her movies just suck.
Her proudly telling the world she was a middle school dropout was shocking. Jennifer could easily go the route of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Daniel Radcliffe...do a bunch of small indie movies, that can only getting funded, because of their name. Build some industry cred and goodwill.
She was great in Winter's Bone, then it was downhill from there.

She couldn’t even act through her engagement and wedding, so her acting future looks rather dim to me. Although she did have David O Russell @ her wedding.
Between Hunger Games and Xmen, Jlaw probably has enough money to produce her own movies.
By the time she was 26-27, she had an oscar, 2-3 other noms, and a pair of blockbuster franchises, along with a net worth over $100mill. If the only reason she had any of that is from banging Harvey, then she is the smartest woman in the world. Can be retired by 29, never to lift a finger again, and had a career that shits all over 99% of Hollywood.
