The answer is no. He is not known for his intellect.
Funny thing is the first really bad press he had was THIS instance and it was with a new PR firm. He fired his old one who seemed to really be on top of things in previous years and made him look like he sh*t puppies and gold. NOW he is listening to the very folks who initially botched this entire set affair mishap.
I can't fault him for relying on his PR team for the social media apology. Their job IS to get him positive PR. The fault lies with Timberlake as he is a douche canoe extraordinaire!
