Huh. I always called it double-fisting. Of course, both sound like a #MeToo issue...
@Florin double cupping is another term for sizzurp or purple drank
@LA Native: Thanks! And name checks out.
Thank God someone knows their urban language!
Oh the purple drank, of course. I remember prescription cough syrup being nasty as a kid, no wonder they drown it with all that sugary sh!t for sizzurp.
Double cup = lean, purple drank, etc.
Do people really drink cough syrup? Like seriously? Idiots!
Friend of mine works at CVS and says there is a man who buys two bottles of Robitussin EVERY DAY.
So yeah, people drink that stuff. Makes me barf.
alliterate? if it's a rapper, more like illiterate.
i like robitussun....tastes good
I'd rather have a bottle of wine from Trader Joe's. They have excellent French wines at very good price points.
"Sizzurp," "Lean," "Texas oil," or "purple drank," is a mix of prescription cough syrup, Promethazine w/CodeineVC, mixed with soda, (usually Sprite), and Jolly Ranchers, for flavor additive, and put in a Styrofoam cup, which is usually then slid into a red Solo cup.
Some of these idiots also crush up pills & put them in there, as well.
There's a couple of other "knock off" formulations, some don't require a prescription. One is a combo of DMX cough syrup (RobitussinDM), Red Bull & Vodka.
Another really dangerous combo is OxyFast,(Oxycodone) liquid, Mtn. Dew/Sprite, Benadryl and/or Promethazine and Jolly Ranchers.
Like I said, these idiots come up with ALL kinds of dangerous and idiotic ways to kill brain cells & (possibly) stop the all important human function-BREATHING.
The mixing & adding of several drugs that all have an effect of suppressing your central nervous system is a really bad idea.
That's how you end up with the majority of ODs.
And people really get a high from those combinations? Sounds like something a school kid would throw together.
Maybe double cupping is also a reference to his boob size
Lock it up with the Sudafed.
Why the styrofoam cup? Why not just the red solo?
Can confirm that people out there get their cough syrup sizzurp purple drank on.
