ReplyDeleteI love all the reader’s photos, too!
I want to give my 2 cents on sunglasses.
I’ve faithfully worn them ever since I got my 1st pair of contacts.
Someone told me NOT to start wearing sunglasses with my contacts. I forget the reason why.
Asked the Optometrist & he said, sunglasses will help prevent wrinkles from squinting in the sun.
I tend break the inexpensive ones & the fit is hard to get right. (I have a few Brighton pairs that I keep in their cases when not wearing).
My son wanted a pair of Raybans for his 21st birthday and then broke them by sitting on them.
I contacted Rayban & I expected to pay to have them repaired. Shipped them to the company.
Two weeks later, a brand new pair arrived to replace the broken ones. No charge!
They also replaced the scratched lenses (for a reasonable amount) on my vintage 1980 something “Wayfarers”.
Sorry for your loss, Silk. Great pictures, everyone.
