Congratulations to this university for belatedly withdrawing an award. They should never have offered it up in the first place. It is not like they didn't know the permanent A list singer from a permanent A list group regularly beat his wife. They just thought no one would notice. People noticed and they revoked the award.

What group, much less permanent A list group, was Don McLean ever part of?
Maybe they thought they were giving this award to their all-time great basketball center Don Maclean, who probably did more in his career than this POS ever did in his.
WTF is a university doing giving awards to pop singers anyway?
I think the perm a list group is a running gag cause he got it wrong in an earlier revealed blind too

Don McLean was a solo act...never in an A list group.
