Was hoping for the reveal of the designer here
a little back story, or even just the designer's name woudl be a lttle helpful...
Designer is supposed to be Michael Kors, I think
I did a quick search...think designer is Stella McCartney, just don't kow what Stella did, although with Kate's ego it could have been something as simple as dressing someone else.
Kate and someone else had the same outfit on. Enty would never stop to think that she wasn't there because Anna didn't invite her.

@Thursday, i think is because she dressed another celeb, but not sure if it was same dress or different ones or if it was just for the same event. Still, get over it, Kate.
Stella designed that awful dress she wore for the Oscars that she was nominated.

MD-- oof! That Oscar dress/hair combo was one of the all-time fails! Two hot, up and comers at the time, and it was such a dated, odd let down.
I really do think this was about Michael kors, though, and for some reason feel it was about having a different actress be his featured "design"? I was hoping the reveal would include the full story, too.

Rachel Zoe (I think that's her name) used to dress her. She even appeared on her reality Bravo show as Zoe dressed her for some major awards show. They claimed, Zoe had been dressing her for over 10+ yrs...and were close friends.
