Sounds like Hayden-- did she go back with the abuser? I do believe the theory that trauma survivors seek a drama/escape cycle, and she sadly seems a prime example

@Marie, I think it's a situation where family have decided that unless she's sober it's better if she isn't around the kid.
@Vita Literally every guy she's ever been with has abused her. If he didn't take her back, she'd just find another one. One of her exes (can't remember which) *allegedly* broke up with her because she wouldn't stop with pushing for beatings and he was afraid he was going to kill her. She is one messed up little girl.

@Marie. Actually given the problems Hayden has, she IS taking care of her daughter by giving the child's father full custody. She did so without a fight IIRC. This way the daughter has a stable life being raised by her father and grandmother. What would things be like for the kid if Hayden even had joint custody?
