I call her Miss Recurring. I think there was a time where she was on four hit shows at the same time, not just in one off appearances, but as a recurring character. She is a remarkable actress. Foreign born. You know her face. I doubt many of you know her name despite being on so many hit shows simultaneously. Why can't she ever get promoted to main cast? The drugs. She can't do that kind of schedule. She can stay clean for a week or two, but then needs to binge which wouldn't be possible if she needed to work every week.

Natalie Dormer? She is a great actress and recurs on quite a few shows..
Nicola Walker? She’s on about 6 different shows right now.
I don't like the Natalie Dormer guess because she had to work multiple weeks in a row both on GoT and The Tudors. Nicola is an interesting guess.

Nicola Walker has started in many tv shows ( including the fantastic River with Stellan Skarsgard) and in theater. I do not think this is her.

For got to add that she does not seem to fit because she carried her show for 3 seasons.
Juno Temple or Lucy Punch? They were both born in England and I swear for the last 5 years I've seen one or the other on my TV in something. They look alike too which always confuses me.
Truly fantastic. Can’t believe the perpetually unlauded Stellan finally got an award. Up to GG a crime.
I don't know whether to be really sad for this talented actress, or have a glimmer of hope for the fact that she holds it together enough keep her career afloat. I guess it needs to be a combo of both until she can beat the addiction.

Natalie Dormers face is all over the Penny Dreadful: City of Angels campaign. IMDB gives her first billing. She also wasn't on four hit shows at the same time. I doubt it's her.

I don't see how it's remotely possible for an addict to do FOUR shows at once The hours for ONE sitcom are insane, forget about an hour long drama but four? Forgettaboutit. I was an alcoholic in my twenties and while most anything is possible, this probably isn't.
Sounds like it might be Lotte Verbeek. Too bad if it is, though.

Please not Nicola Walker, I loved her in Spooks, Unforgotten, Last Tango in Halifax, River, New Tricks, Luther, Scott and Bailey, & Babylon amongst others.
She thoroughly deserved her BAFTA nominations.
I was thinking of the Hispanic actress that was on the Mick and the show about the cerebral palsy kid.
Would Dormer's role on GOT not be considered main cast? She had just as much screen time as Dinklage, Harington, Turner, etc.
Katherine Kelly? She is always in lots of shows and has lost a massive amount of weight too

@Katetastrophe - I sure hope it isn't her. She's one of my favorite actresses. She was wonderful on Warehouse 13.
