Evangeline Lilly Looking For Work

According to Korbi TV, Evangeline Lilly has been auditioning for new pilots for the upcoming fall season and her people say she will be able to work at that time on the show. Wow. I'm thinking this is not true because if Lost kills off Kate there really is no point to any of the seasons and just becomes more of a mess. I mean the only reason I can think of that would get her kicked off the show or killed is if she got arrested for drunk driving which she hasn't, or if she decided that she really wanted to make a career out of those chat line commercials and didn't see how it would all fit in with the whole Sawyer and Kate thing.

Of course this all could be a ruse to actually get people to watch Lost and wondering if the episode they are watching is going to be Evangeline's last one. Does anyone even understand what is going on in Lost anymore? Why is it that a show like Heroes or Lost start off great and then the writers say we have to keep people on their toes and the next thing you know it is just a freaking mess from which they never recover.

I absolutely love this show, but, last night did it for me!!!! WTF!! I have never missed an episode and I was completely lost last night....didn't get it, and I am glad........it has actually become a headache tying to follow what is going on!

THIS IS STRANGE...I READ THAT AFTER LOST SHE'S DONE WITH ACTING...OH WELL

I'd be fine with her disappearing from Lost. :)

I'm with you deity2, this season is becoming really difficult for me to follow. I was like a Lost encyclopedia up to this point, now I have to ask people what the heck is going on after every episode!!

The producers have said that there will only be 6 seasons of Lost. The 5th season is currently on the air and I assume they will be filming the last season sometime soon.... so this makes sense.

Last nights episode of Lost was one of the best ever! I doubt they'll kill her off...this is just a rumour.

I love Lost and have absolutely no trouble following what is going on. I can do without Kate and Jack though. More Sawyer, Locke, Ben and Hurley!

shazzba, I remember the same interview. evangie said no more acting for her, she just doesn't need the hero worship. ha.

I agree last nights ep was one of the best ever, and I have no trouble following what's going on. When I do anticipate trouble, though, I recap by checking the episode's summary on lostpedia.org. It helps point out a few things you might not have noticed, while jogging your memory.

Isn't this the last season of Lost?

i agree with enty... i gave up on "lost" i think in the second season. i finally gave up on "heroes" a few months ago (maybe that giant premiere party should have tipped me off), for the same reasons.
now i'm waiting for "reaper" (i think it comes back march 11 or 12) and "eureka" to start up again. and i've borrowed my son's "invader zim" collection.

at least the bunnies are entertaining, as long as they get THEIR way!

I love LOST both in spite of and because of the mess and confusion. Kind of like sex!

I also can do without Kate and Jack, I am so tired of their characters! Loved last nights episode and could hardly watch while Ben was killing Locke, supposedly we will have answers next week.

Heroes was such a good show to start, now it's balls.

They saved Lost this season. I am a huge fan and probably would have kept watching anyway, but at the end of last season I was starting to feel that we were never going to get any answers, but the first few episodes of this season have been awesome. The writers must have had the whole story written from the beginning, including an ending, because so many details from season 1 and 2 are starting to make sense now. When I heard the title of last nights episode I jumped. And it was just as fantastic as I had hoped. Yes, they have saved Lost, and I am still a huge fan. And also, nerd.

By the way guys, tomorrow night is the PORNSTAR GALA where I go have my picture taken with the "Vivid Girls". Are you excited? I'm excited!

Barely ever watched Lost after the second season-and even then ya couldn't get them to run new episodes 2 consecutive weeks in a row.
But if there's a teaser
for Sawyer getting laid I'll casually stop by and GAWK.

The problem with shows like Lost and Heroes IMO is that whoever came up with them, came up with an amazing concept but then didn't actually consider what they would do if the show ended up succeeding past a certain number of seasons (or even past one season). They figured they could kind of make it up as it goes along, but with a show like Lost especially, you kind of need to have an idea of where you want it to end so that whatever plots you come up with tend to work toward that end and make just enough sense to keep people interested, and not frustrated.

It really wouldn't hurt if some of these writers, instead of pitching great concepts, started pitching great concepts and then had at least five seasons worth of plot lines to back it up. Yeah, your show may not last five seasons, or it may last longer and you have to make up some new stuff, and you may decide to change some things along the way, but damn - at least have some kind of plan.

OK this has got to be a ruse. First, the producers of the show are way too secretive to let a bombshell like this out so early when the show will run its season through May. Second, Lilly has said in the past that she would like to take time off from acting. She doesnt need the money, so it would seem odd for her to jump right into another show right away. IMO, this is a story to cause some publicity. I hope so...... The only other thing I can think of is some kind of large dispute or disagreement with the show and she is doing this to rub salt in a wound. I just cant see her doing that.

I LOVE Lost. I'm obsessed. Love that I have to think and try to figure out what is going on. The creators actually had a plan in place - they've always known where they are going with the show.

I tried getting into Heroes, but gave up months ago. It does seem like that show has no real direction and I got bored with it.

If you're lost when watching Lost, look at the following timeline:

The guy who made it already published his theory a year ago before S4 even ended. He's a genius IMO. Only Lost theory that makes any sense.

Why do these shows always turn into a freaking mess?

Because American networks don't know how to just tell a good story and let it end! They have to drag it out for years and years and years until everyone is sick of the unnecessary cliffhangers. Tell the story and get it overwith, Even if it only lasts a season or two!
