Jessica & The Oscar Nominee
The headline kind of sounds like a fairy tale doesn't it? Go ahead and take away all the pain that Jessica Simpson has had over the past few weeks by having daddy plant a story about Jessica flirting all night with Jeremy Renner at a cocktail party. It is funny that this story just happened to pop up on the Thursday before the Academy Awards. You know right before Jeremy hits the red carpet and probably gets asked by each reporter about Jessica Simpson. That Joe Simpson is a crafty guy. I don't know if you have noticed it or not, but look at all the still photos you see from Jessica's new show. Each is credited to Joe Simpson which means he was right behind her or in front of her, or looking down her top the entire time.
Jessica might not be invited to the show, but now she is sure to get some press from it. I wonder what Charlize Theron thinks of this whole thing. Uh huh.

I can't believe it is 2010 and we are still talking about Jessica Simpson. She (or Joe) is pretty darn good at promoting herself.
I have heard that most paparazzi shots and candid's of Jessica are credited to her dad. He had himself registered with the photo agencies or something a few years ago and they have to deal with him to get any shots of her.
I don't know how Charlize figures in this either. Maybe it's a hint for a blind item.

Some tabloid reported this week that Charlize and Jeremy may be a couple. That's where the comment is coming from.

I give the scumbucket credit for being able to keep Jessica's name in the press - you have to admit, the same technique worked for Parasite.
Keep talking about someone long enough and they develop a psuedo relevance.
And slightly off topic, I caught the trailer for her last bomb, "Blond and Dangerous" the other night - my only question is why did they even bother to put it to DVD? There's no way they could have gotten even a tenth of the studio's money back from sales.
Not to mention that's 5 minutes of my life I'm never going to get back.
They should have just tanked it and taken a huge tax writeoff.

i'm a woman and i don't like her. she can't sing (i thought it was a joke the first time i heard her and then realized it was serious) and she's dumb. i don't get why anyone even talks about her. she can't sing, can't act, does nothing whatsoever of note that i can see.

Yes, what Cheryl said regarding her dad and his photographs has been true for years. Say what you will about that man, but he is a genius with his scum-bag ways. In addition to reaping the rewards of being her manager, he's managed to double dip by registering with photo agencies, taking "exclusive pics" of her, then selling them.
That being said, he still seems a good step up or so from a Lohan parent.
IMHO, Jessica is a nice person who isn't a great singer or great actress, but she's a decent singer and actress. She just needs to grow a set of balls and decide what she wants to do and then get better people behind her. I think with the right material (either acting or singing), she could be a lot better than she is now.
that said, very intriguing about Charlize and Jeremy! I think they could make a cute couple :-)
If this is true, he probably just wants to try some of that napalm sex thing she has going. Probably nothing more. I don't like her. She has no talent to speak of. The Newlyweds with Nick was funny. Everything since then has been pretty bad as far as I am concerned.
Sick. Of. Her. I refuse to purchase any of her overpriced merchandise. Can we have a ban on her? I think that other outlets (like E!) did that to Parisite and we hardly see anything of her now.
I like her. She can be funny and she seems nice. She is a lot better than some of the other losers who have their own shows and get album deals.
I think I would like Jessica a lot more if Joe wasn't her dad. I get the feeling a lot of her ex boyfriends would have too.
Her dad seems like a whack job. Don't trust him. Not as shifty as Mesh Shirted Lohan but still shifty.

She must be doing something right.. In Forbes mag this year for top 10 mogul for person under thirtie up & coming.. sadi to have pulled in 20 million not counting endorsements so lets say pocketed 35 million. Has half a billion dollar empire already & should gain more this year. NOt to shabby.
If any you people including jouranlists watched OPRAH the other day OPRAH noted that even she could tell there were many paparazii pics of Jessica * in that comment also noted that Jessica made the magazines a lot of money. Jessica has a right to live her life as she chooses & not sit in judgement by ya all. If you don't like it don't buy the mags & the paps will have to find another target. Its all pretty simple. It would shut down gossip sites such as these also. Don't buy the mags to read period. A tab can spin whatever story they want wether it is truth or not & anyone can be a source. PRETTY SIMPLE hey?
