This recently rehabbed C list mostly television actor was spotted drinking some beers with friends this week.
Cory Monteith (since that initial blind, I have received numerous reports of Cory not being sober, but there is a limit to how many blinds you can do on one subject/topic. Things got especially out of hand when Lea Michele was in Mexico on vacation last week. There is a recent blind about the couple.)

The addict usually stops when money runs out or when the social environment throws roadblocks up. In Monteith's case, neither happened, and he managed to kill himself. Sad stuff.

Wouldn't you be more comfortable on a site that's not about gossip? I hear NationalGeographic.com has some great features. DiscoveryChannel.com is also very good.

Someone on another site said he and Lea were getting married in two weeks. I'd not heard that anywhere before, but I haven't followed them.
I'm pretty sure that's just something that a fan came up with, making it seem more sad than how tragic is already is. There was never any kind of mention from them, their friends or public statements.
What is the recent blind about these two?
So sad that Cory couldn't get away form the drug demons. Its truly a disease that is so hard to over come.

Tabby are you so naive to think a gossip site would wait? You can't get much more salacious than an unexpected celebrity death if you have an interest in celebrity gossip. Gossip is clearly not for everyone. I see Nutty_Flavor has provided some nice cupcakes and rainbow suggestions for you.

@aspie: there was one that was something about a pregnancy and if the male in the relationship did some counting he was going to be very upset.
The popular guess for that was lea got pregnant while he was in rehab. Although I can't say if that is what this was referring to or not

Just so my vote is in, I am delighted to read the reveal and news about the untimely death of Cory Monteith. I would have been surprised if nothing had been written about him considering the nature of this website. "Sleazy gossip website" as one of the Anonymous clan has previously mentioned, very aptly put. Cory is Canadian, perhaps the Canadian contingent who get flamed all the time know more about this.

Same happened when Ledger died, the Enties 'all of a sudden' did reveals about someone who was clearly on a path of destruction. Just wait until Lindsay passes, it will be pages and pages of 'reveals'. Though she's like a cockroach, she'll probably outlive us all.

Me too, I was kind of dreading that this story would appear. And I'm ashamed to gossip, but if that blind is about them, that is just so so so sad. He was special in his sensitive soul. He was a good guy. And I'm livid at Lea.
Damn, he's been off the wagon since May...I hate the ones thay do rehab then die afterwards...at least he's not suffering anymore
And for the record, I appreciate Enty revealing the blinds...he's offering information that other sites don't have, he's been going off the wagon for a while poor thing...the summer time is the worse time, people go wild and crazy

In all fairness to Enty, he could post a BI that reads, "This young A-list mostly-movie actor has been using drugs so often that even his dealer thinks he'll be dead soon" then wait. Within 3-4 months someone in H'wood will OD and die, giving him the opportunity to make it a perfect reveal.
I saw on the news that cops on the scene said there were no obvious signs of OD and the news also said he was in rehab for drugs, not alcohol. Not trying to be vulgar, but alcohol poisoning deaths are usually somewhat messy. Anybody know what kind of drugs he did have a problem with (aka drug of choice)?

Ah, there it is. I knew I wouldn't have to look very hard to find the first 'blame the bitch' post. Why are you livid at Lea? Do you know something about the private ins and outs of their relationship that the rest of us don't know? Please tell us, was she not supportive of his rehab, did she kill him from hundreds of miles away, did she 'drive him to drugs' with her obnoxious self? Corey is a grown man, he could have ended that relationship at any time if it was so bad for him.
As for milking it? Read her twitter, she rarely mentioned him or the time she spent with him.
Tyger Lilly an article I read today had him saying he was into anything he could get his hands on when he was younger. It did not say what his drug of choice was lately. I tend to think they were a publicity romance so it does not surprise me Lea Michelle was not with him.
I think covering his death and revealing his off-the-wagon blinds are good because it goes to show how dangerous substance addiction can be.
Plus this is DUH - A GOSSIP SITE - so that's also relevant.

Another way to look at this could be that Enty doesn't out people, and not if it can't help. But since the poor man is dead, it cannot hurt or be dishonorable now. I read this site for gossip and escapism; I post comments upon occasion; I hate to see people hacking at each other because opinions differ. God Bless this young man and welcome him into a place of peace. I hope maybe it helps someone else. My gosh, people are dropping like flies.
I guess I'll say one thing else: people used to be terrified of heroine (sp?); it used to be the worst of the worst. Why are people not afraid of drugs any more? And mixing drugs? And pharmaceuticals are so deadly now, too, if misused and mixed.
He make have just died like many people and asphyxiated on his own vomit, if he was drinking, since there were no signs of drugs. Very sad and a waste that he died. But I am not offended by this blind, if I recall Corey was the most guessed for this blind when it first appeared.
Yeah I feel terrible for saying that, my thought had been with Lea but I got distracted by thinking the pregnant blind was Lea hurting him. That wouldn't have changed his own actions. She must be re estates.
I just think this is so sad. Other then the rehab stuff you never heard a bad word about him - very well liked, very good at heart. I knew 3 men who died last year from mixing booze and drugs - accidently. One was drunk off his ass and decided a few lines of coke would be great. The other mixed 3 clonipins with a night of drinking. The 3rd, mixed ambien, paxil and drinking a lot. All died in bed at night. It's like you get bombed out of your gourd and decide hmmm let me take my meds and maybe just a little extra. All 3 men were between 40 &50 yrs old too. Total total waste of life.And so damn sad.

@DontRainOnMyPrada I think @badguesser was trying for a different blind item because the comments are different. From what I can gather from the comments @badguesser linked to, it was a BI about relapsing in a park somewhere but I don't know how to find the original BI.

FWIW; in regards to everyone upset over what Enty revealed about Cory, the drinking stuff was mild and rather unrelated to the 2 issues that Cory was actually in rehab for..
As for Lea, she's been amazing to Cory. Stuck with him through a lot of crap that would send most women screaming in the other direction. She loved him, flaws and all

There was a blind recently about a "recently rehabbed star" picking up their drug of choice in the park and that their SO wouldn't be too happy about it.

He was a public figure. Speculation about his death and habits that may have led to it is not inappropriate or unexpected.
I think we all are aware of another situation in the media eye right now that raises serious issues about the way we live our lives. Let's worry about causes like that if you want to stand on a soapbox about something.
CDAN is about as relevant as a tomato to the sturm and drang of daily life. This is purely entertainment, as stated at the bottom of the homepage.
Such a tragedy. I saw him in the Strathcona neighbourhood up here (Vancouver) just a month ago. He seemed fine to me & chatty with people, although it is an area where you can basically buy whatever drugs you need.

I agree with Tabby, ethorne, Bacon Ranch, et al. I knew there would be a mention of the news of his death here today, but the reveal is just in bad taste, even for a gossip site. Just my two cents.

Not to be all dramatic but I have a feeling that Lea and Cory had broken up just prior to her going on vacation last week. She returned to L.A on July 8 and Cory stayed in Vancouver this whole time to see friends and family, if your significant other was away for a week wouldn't you be with them when they got back. I don't know, maybe I'm reading too much into their timeline but something seems off.
He returned to his hotel in the early morning after partying. Lord knows he made a pit stop to a dealer. Nothing good about getting home at that time after

And it doesn't matter if they were broken up or not. She loved him at one point and they were together 2 years. It's natural to be devastated losing that person so suddenly.

Apparently Fentanyl is big in Vancouver and is stronger than heroin so the "usual" amount is immediately an overdose situation. So freaking sad. How is it all the other celebrity users are still around and this gentle soul is not? Seriously how is Charlie Sheen still alive?
Considering this is a gossip site and everyone of you has logged on (including me) to sneak and pry into people's private lives, blind gossip on the recently passed is as tasteless as any other secret. The blind on Corey's secret pastimes didn't sound nasty, If anything it came across as a very sad waste,.... of apparently a much liked person. Hopefully someone on here experimenting with drugs will learn something from this and get the help they need.
