It isn't just C and D listers who are working the yacht circuit in Cannes this year. This Academy Award winner/nominee was the guest of a man from midnight to dawn to dawn the other night and apparently was paid in the low six figures for the evening. Hopefully her boyfriend won't find out. The man has previously used the services of Lindsay Lohan but she was only paid $25K. Lindsay needs to win so she can raise her prices.

Couple this, if true, with hanging with a dictator without remorse and that changes my opinion of her dramatically.
She did get paid to go to that dictator's party, and she has probably been paid to go to other parties, so this really isn't much of a stretch to believe. And 6 figures is a lot of money, even if you are already rich. Oh well, it was consensual, so get that money Hils.

Hilary grew up tralior trash & had seriously messed up teeth.
She did some bombs after her Oscar wins, so she's not getting the big checks & she's not a leading lady. She could use her money for directing/producing. Or go do leads in Indies, but she seems to be following Brit Murphy's lead & doing low budget thrillers.
First, I can't imagine Swank is worth $40M. Yes she has won two Oscars but she not in the $10-$20M per movie category, I don't think. So, yachting for bucks doesn't seem that farfetched. Secondly, girlfriend is UGLY and the parts are just not there, except on a specific type. So I'm not going to call BS on this for now. Those old, rich Euros and Russkies might think an Oscar winner on their yacht might look better than an obvious prostitute/aging party girl.

She's got a movie coming out in November with Tommy Lee Jones, she's wrapped another with a boatload of B list names, and is slated to start filming a TV series for Starz with Ed Helms and Ed Harris. She might not be loaded, but she's working regularly.

Swank hasn't had a non-direct to video movie in years. I can see this as a possibility. Sadly, her career is winding down.
However, I have seen her in person. She is scrawny, and very frail looking. I can't picture paying that much money for her. Or anyone really. For that much money, he could have had hundreds of younger, hotter women.

Americans are so damned puritanical. Maybe she just wanted to. Maybe the guy is kind of sexy or the situation turned her on or she wanted the paycheck. And why would he not let her use condoms? I'm sure she sets her terms. Sex is just not that big a deal. People need to relax. (But use condoms.)
