Ok this is 5 minutes of gay jokes revolving around a shocked family who cannot grasp that a wedding is a wedding, gay or straight. It is also a cautionary tale of how historically marginalized groups can some times even fail to recognize another group experiencing the same kinds of systematic oppression. I think it would also bug @jack ducky

ReplyDeleteI love Key and Peele, but I'll wait to watch it on their show where their wraparound banter will set the scene better. But if you are a football fan, check out their "East West Bowl" skits, the names are hilarious "X-wing @Alouiciousness- Brigham Young University" lol

The guy from BYU is Dan Smith, the only white guy, and the one with the reasonable name.
They reused him in the East Coast - West Coast Shuffle, where, against any sense, he was the one who did the rap.
Can't watch it cuz I'm in Canada. :( But I love Key and Peele! I'll find this somehow...
ReplyDeleteI love Kaye & Peele. But this was not one of their better skits. The woman standing by the door - she was bad. Everybody else just didn't have good enough lines to say. Disappointing. A one-gag joke that just went on and on.
