Your Turn

Band you have never seen that you wish you could or wish you would have before they broke up.

GnR in their prime don't wanna see them anymore. Maybe Bruce Springsteen too.

First saw Bruce in 1978 on the Darkness tour. I wish I could have seen him circa 1972.

The Beatles of course.

Since i was a young man, I've loved Steely Dan.
My wife hates Steely Dan.
So, every time they come to play Las Vegas, I'm torn.
Should I go?
(Tickets are always so expensive, though!)

Andrew even today in NY it's almost impossible to get tickets to see Bruce. I tried once he was sold out in 5 minutes I was still getting busy signals 30 minutes later. Never tried again.

The Doors. Morrison was so magnetic, and their music remains exciting 50 years after their debut.

Michael Jackson and a coked up Queen would be more interesting watching live than somewhere else (CD, youtube, whatever), watching some person singing without fireworks or something spectacular is not worth my time or dough.

I wish I could have afforded to see The Eagles when Glenn Frey was still alive. I will see them in July, but he leaves a great big hole.

Also I wish I could have seen The Who when it had more than just Pete and Roger left. Otherwise, I have seen most of who I have always wanted to see in concert, and have tickets for who I haven't seen yet.

I've seen pretty much everyone I've ever wanted to, except maybe Debbie Harry/Blondie, The Clash and The Ramones. I wish I was much older and living in NY in the 70s!

Oh, and Donna Summer. That woman's voice was pure heaven.

Just knocked one off my list- saw U2 on the Joshua Tree Tour.

Wish I could have seen Beastie Boys- I had tickets to see them perform at the Hollywood Bowl. Just after I bought them, MCA announced his illness and the tour was cancelled.

Fucking Radiohead--I know they're still together but I have tried to see them 3 times and something has always happened--one tragedy on my end, two tragedies on theirs. I think trying a fourth time would only be tempting fate. Love ya, Thom!!

Saw JB too and went absolutely nuts. Love ya Godfather!!! Missed Led Zeppelin , Marvin Gaye and Nirvana. My friend at work joked about Kurt not being around next time and then it happened. So sad

Motley Crue.

I had the opportunity to see them on their '89-'90 Dr. Feelgood Tour on January 14, 1990 in Houston. They played the Summit (now home to Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church).

I actually stood in line and purchased my friend's ticket because he had something going on at 10am the Saturday Morning the tickets went on sale. I was able to get him a floor seat and he went by himself and still talks about that concert.

Me? I was into rock & hip-hop at the time, but for whatever reason I had decided Motley Crue was just too hard.

My loss.
