@sandybrook i have my suspicions that emmy will be back on the show for at least 1 episode. i dont know if she left leaving bad feelings or not which could make all the difference.

Shameless lost me at a certain point. I didn't want to see Will Macy having sex anymore and what's her face didn't wipe after she peed at the opening of the show every day. I always thought I could smell her.
I hope Shameless has a happy ending when it ends...It's so gritty and hard, it would be nice to see them all happy

pretty sure she didn't leave on best of terms - i also felt like they were dragging her character through the gutter and maybe she didn't like where that was headed, or triggered, or fears of type casting, etc. Wondered if she is trying to get preggers - otherwise why wouldn't she get cast in something, esp with her hubby connections. i do miss her on the show. Lips tranny gf is great and Debbie keep things rolling, for sure. It would be great if we saw Emmy again as Fiona!
Ruth Wilson, with Luther the four-episode show. She's great, and has been consistently good in the feature films she's made. Maybe His Dark Materials will lift her above this harassment garbage.

I tuned out of Shameless a couple of seasons back too. Not going to bash the show, I just interest. At least when I lost interest it hadn't gone into full trainwreck mode like GOT and TWD did.
Clarification on her marriage to Sam Esmail — they were married before he did Mr. Robot... she helped him get his foot in the door.
Emmy Rossum? Shameless is ending after next season and hasn't been as good since Fiona (Emmy's character) left IMO.

The amount of nudity, and my interest, in Shameless are plummeting.
I was happy to see OG Mandy Milkovich has a new show coming out. I'll never see the show, but Googling Jane Levy Nude led me tona wonderful crop of leaked selfies. No b-hole, though quite fappable.
Although I love Emmy Rossum I honestly never understood why She walked away from Shameless.
Because let's not forget that before Shameless things weren't exactly great on The Career Line.
Because after She broke out with The Phantom Of The Opera.
I remember She spent quite a few years on the fashion side of things when She should have been taking advantage of Her fame on The Movie Side things instead.
And so by the time Shameless came around She definitely did not have that many options on the table.
That's why don't understand why Her and Her people would try and convince Her that She had all of these options.
When it wasn't that long ago that She didn't.
She had basically taken over the show, directing most episodes, no? Totally didnt make sense.
