Pie
Cake hands down.
Who needs the chicken potpie of desserts?
Cake....& some more cake!
That’s a tough one!
neither I don't do sweets, but because sugar is in so many different things can't cut it out completely. Except desserts and soda.
Pie or Die!
1000% Pie
either
are we talking carrot cake or peach or pie?
Peach crumble pie
Unfortunately, neither...for us diabetics. (But, like most marrieds, I do cheat a little---once in a white---with a really good looking piece of cake).
Cake.
Today, in particular, Brown Sugar Caramel Pound Cake. With a cup of Peet's Major Dickason's blend.
Boston cream pie, which is cake.
Both, but I like cream pies the best
Lordy that sounds good! Any particular recipie you would recommend?
Depends on the kind. I love layer cakes, yellow with white frosting, also strawberry layer cake. But I also love pecan pie, Boston cream pie, pumpkin pie, peanut butter pie, chess pie, any custard pie, buttermilk pie, hell I even make dinner pies like shepherds pie, pot pies and today, kurnik (russian chicken and rice pie). Good stuff.
cake
(chocolate) cake!
cake - carrot
Vanilla cake with chocolate frosting. 😻
Pie
@Astra... you are making me hungry for a dessert. Guess I need to visit a bakery.
Give me a big honking lemon meringue or French silk pie any day !!
The proper query is Pie vs Strudel.
Just give me the frosting
neither, only cookies
Butterscotch cream pie.
Mocha Cake
Depends on the time of Day. Cake in the afternoon but it has to be a good cake preferably without sugary icing/frosting such as a Lemon Drizzle Cake. Pie in the evening. A good Rhubarb Crumble and Custard or Citron Tarte is hard to beat.
What a ridiculous question. What KIND of cake and pie?
Cake no contest.
Tart.
Pie, except for German Chocolate Cake.
I like the way you think.
MMMM, cake-pie..
Cake all day...
Carrot cake or Key Lime pie.. they both reign supreme
dairy queen ice cream cake...i could probably eat a whole one.
Carrot cake with walnuts and cream cheese frosting or blueberry pie. I rarely indulge in either because sugar gives me a headache, but I just drooled a little thinking about them.
neither one ...most have high gluten
Only if it is real Dutch apple pie, with whipped cream. And when I say "real" I mean, served in The Netherlands. I know of no place outside of there where the apple pie is at least 3 inches thick, packed with apples, and with sugar sprinkled over the top as it comes out of the oven. Their cherry pie is good, too, but not as thick. Every time we go there, we have their apple pie and I am reminded why it is famous.
The one exception I make to the above, is Fo Fo's de Belas in Portugal. Look them up. Heaven.
