Katie Holmes Likes Big Pants
There are a few ways you can look at this story. No matter what though. They are big pants and unlike the song, she doesn't have a big butt.
Now, you can look at this as a loving mother taking her daughter to the park after getting turned away at Berlin's Fashion Week. No doubt for wearing these ginormous pants. The mom who had promised her daughter lots of half naked women walking down a runway and failed to deliver then took her to a park and posed with her in the aforementioned ginormous pants and six inch heels because no mom with the exception of Jennifer Garner would ever change out of high fashion into park clothes.
Now, the cynical among us would say that this was all very carefully planned from the clothes to the haircut to the posing with daughter so the pap got perfect angles to the ring all sparkly. Because Tom has been filming a movie it was up to the alien wife to get outside and make sure people haven't forgot about TomKat while in Germany.

Suri really is adorable.
I think Katie is wearing big-legged jeans. Not my cuppa tea, but neither are they inappropriate for a visit to the park.
I can't imagine having to endure Tomcrazy.
Did Katie and Nicole actually sign a "beard" contract? Life is too short to fake it even for a minute. There is something seriously wrong with people who can.

This does indeed look very arranged. I'm sick of the whole TomKat farce, and now it's time for the airheads Beckhams?! They don't fascinate me in the least!
Definitely looks planned, but at least Suri is cute. Really cute. I bet that's what motivates Katie to stay with the plan.
There's another pic out there someplace of Katie squatting down to talk to Tom; his back is to the camera in a plain blue t-shirt; she's dressed to the nines, including Louboutin 4" heels -- brand new, not a mark on the soles. Maybe this is her year and he thinks he's "helping" her by "letting" her have some PR time.
Don't hate me, I think Katie looks awesome. I would totally sport that.
But damn, isn't Suri SO freakin' adorable?!

Sorry, there's no way I - or any real mother would take a child to play in the park in heels. (see the bottom photo - they are peeking out in the back) There's a time and place for everything, and Katie is not dressed to take a kid to the park. She obviously dressed for the camera.
can i just say that, if most of us were photographed everytime we stepped outside, we'd all likely be dressed to the nines for a park outing too.
i'm not saying the heels aren't excessive - because they are - but seriously, like we'd all be schlepping around in sweatpants, stained baggy t-shirts and baseball caps if a telefoto lens was trained on our every move? HELL NO! i'd be wearing my push-up bra, full makeup and hair, anything that made me look tall and lean.
And let's also remind you that Jen Garner uses the park and her 'schlepping' for publicity...it's not because she's 'normal'.
Remember how she was very recently vying for a show that would be aimed at the normies of america?
Shoot, I'd make sure I looked perfect if I knew I'd be photographed. Who wouldn't? Besides Pam Anderson (ugh), of course?
I think she looks fabulous, but I have to admit, I wish she would sometimes just "let her hair down" and look casual (like the old KATIE). She seems so aloof and robotic now. She is turning into an ice queen like kidman... watch out for botox in 10 years.
What killed me was her wearing those heels at the beach! Hahah!
That said, Suri is ADORABLE and I see both Tom and Katie in her.

Well, if she was trying to avoid naked people, she'da been better off at the fasion show - a park in Berlin is the last place I'd go. I lived in Berlin for three years and it is quite customary for people (not me, thanks!) to sunbathe nude in the park during the summer... freier korper kultur (FKK, or nudism...) is very acceptable in Germany and especially in boho Berlin...
I have to agree - If I was being followed by cameras everywhere, I would definitely be dressed up and I really LOVE her outfit - I thought I heard WIDE leg pants were coming back in too - to the park, for us regular folk, no, but if I was her and could afford it and afford the daily foot massage afterwards - hell yes!!
I think we can all say what we want about Tom and Katie's wierd relationship but she obviously adores that child...wherever she came from.
