Russell Crowe Set To Play Moe In Three Stooges Movie
Just what all my readers wanted. You make your significant other take you to Sister Of The Traveling Pants 2 (you owe me Amber) and say that you will be glad to go with him to any movie he wants. "How bad could it be you ask yourself?" Well, you are going to find out because every guy will be going to see the Three Stooges.
Filmmakers Peter and Bobby Farrelly who are the perfect directors to pull something like this off are bringing Curly, Moe and Larry back to the big screen. Speaking at the London premiere of his new movie The Heartbreak Kid, Bobby Farrelly revealed,
"We love having Russell Crowe play Moe. "We needed a powerful actor with huge screen presence. It was either going to be Russell or Benecio Del Toro."
Meanwhile Dumb and Dumber star Jeff Daniels is being considered to play fellow Stooge Larry. Farrelly added, "We've written the script and we're ready to roll - it's just a case of waiting for the green light from producers. It's been a tricky one to get made.. but I'm confident it will… we're passionate about it."
