Cameron Douglas's Girlfriend Is An Idiot
I would say that high on the list of people not to date would be drug dealers. I am not saying they are at the top of the list but they are fairly near the top. Reason number one is because you are very likely to be arrested at some point during your relationship. Reason number two is that you probably will start using drugs which will cause you to do stupid things. Of course this presumes you are not stupid in the first place for dating said dealer.
Well yesterday in federal court, Cameron Douglas' girlfriend Kelly Scott was arrested. Why was Kelly arrested? Because she passed Cameron an electric toothbrush. Oh, and inside the toothbrush were dime bags of heroin. Yes, inside a federal f**king courtroom she tried to pass someone drugs.
What an idiot.

She obviously was preparing for a role in an upcoming movie about a drug dealer in prison and she didn't know that those little bags she stuffed in the toothbrush "in order to prep for the role" were really drugs!

Was this at the Federal courthouse in Foley Square in Manhattan? Home of the most compulsive guards and bailiffs in the legal world? How tf did she get the toothbrush past the guards in the lobby,to begin with? And did the bailiff intercept before the handoff was completed? Because I can't fathom how she would have even gotten within reaching distance of the defendant in one of those cavernous courtrooms.
Oh, you know the first thing his lawyer did was text his office to order a new Lexus for him; this is going to cost Kirk and Michael soooooo much money.

At the time, everyone assumed it was Ryan O'Neal, but when the arrest broke, I began wondering otherwise. Michael Douglas doesn't strike me as exactly a model parent.
I think it also adds on another charge for the person receiving the drugs as well.
I don't think Michael was a bad parent, Cameron is 30 years old not a neglected child, his mother never worked, they waited to divorce until he was 19 years old, even the most delicate flower should be able to handle something like that. He was on most of his dad's film sets and Michael was at school games and plays - he was given excellent private schooling. This guy was handed out some pretty nice cards in the game of life. For whatever reason he is a drug addict and dealer, that is a lifestyle choice, his father had him rehabbed several times. What more could he do for his son? All he had to do was ask for help and his father would have sent him to rehab again. And again.
I don't think it's far to blame the parents for any of this at all. This is all on a very ill and stupid man who is going to be in prison for a while because of his decisions.

He wasn't in a courtroom. He was in his mother's apt in NYC - out on bail but with court-ordered private security guards.
The guards monitored his phone call to girlfriend. He focused on her bringing him an electric toothbrush and wanted to know when "the toothbrush" would arrive.
All the emphasis on the toothbrush alerted one of the guards monitoring the phone call, and another guard remembered he had recd a toothbrush only a few days before.
The guards put the clues together and caught them red-handed. He was then taken to jail.
He might have under estimated the guards, since he (his family) was paying them.
