Accuser #4 Steps Forward Against John Travolta
I guess John Travolta is willing to go down swinging and fight every last accuser who comes forward and accuses the actor of sexually assault or groping or wearing a bad hair piece. Lets face it. His advances seem about as awkward as his hair pieces so that so is not a good thing.
The current accuser, which would make four, is a gym employee who said he would open the gym for John after hours while he was filming a role and that John would grope and fondle him against his will. Yeah? Well he should have slugged John and called the police. I don't understand why none of these guys called the police. If they were women and John Travolta had done this to them they would have called the police but for some reason they didn't. Why? Shame? Not wanting to cause John trouble seems out there considering they are doing that now. It bothers me that none of these people filed a report with the police.

Maybe they tried and were shut down by the police/his people/$cientology. It's Hollywood; nothing is implausible.

It sounds fishy to me, too. In fact, it looks very much like these guys suddenly thought they saw a potential goldmine and decided to jump on the bandwagon, and I hope that, if and when these cases do come to court, potential judges and jurors take into account the apparent fact that, although this harassment has supposedly been going on for some time, none of these guys ever bothered to cry foul until now.

I think you're being a little harsh... CoS goes to extreme measures to protect their members. If an individual filed a police report, it wouldn't surprise me if the next day, they vanished into thin air. I really think that while some of the accusers might want money, there is strength in numbers and that gave them the courage to come forward now.
One guy got fired for complaining about Travolta. I think a lot of these guys feared for their jobs. Also, men as a whole do not report these things due to the stigma associated with it. A lot of men are raped and don't report it.
This is what happens when a person supresses who they really are. It's like a garbage can. You can only keep adding and compressing the garbage down in the trash can for so long and close the lid before it one day comes bursting out and throws garbage everywhere.
John has been hiding who he really is, playing the hollywood game. Miserable for years and years with his faux marriage. He got sick of hiding his true self...and now look what happens. Garbage everywhere. He got sloppy, cause he stopped caring and just wanted to be free.
As for Battleship Earth. Travolta never wanted to do the movie after having hit movie after hit movie. He was forced to by the scientologists (It was their movie funded by them). They told him they would out him and destroy his career if he didn't comply.

everyone is going to come forward now that one person came and told their story. But I thnk this is MUCH bigger than tiger, because JT is not out, and hes married with kids, and its just a big scandal becuase NO ONE who reads kneepads would think hes gay.
I believe these guys. I used to go to the gym with my out and proud gay friend and he'd disappear to the bathroom for hours. Eventually hed turn up and tell me all these insanely juicy stories of hooking up in the showers or saunas with random guys. Yeah, he wasn't very smart but he said most of the guys were married or 'straight' cause he'd see a wedding band or see them around town with females. Gym bathrooms are the go to place for closeted men.
Having a good few gay friends...I believe many more will come out of the woodwork.
All the protestors occupying Wall Street can solve their $$ problems by jumping on this lawsuit. It seems He'll pay anyone off bc it's more likely he DID fondle anyone he came into contact with!

Also his former fiancee Vicki (remember her from the Rehab show?) said that his marriage to Kelly Preston is an arrangement (shocker) and they have a contract. There's a bit more details but that's the gist of it for the curious.
There is a hgiher percentage of rape/abuse against women because women are more likely to report. Men do not report for all of the reasons above. These men are probably coming forth because there is safety in numbers.
When women come forward with sexual harassment and assault claims, it is seems that they are usually the ones who are put on trial and have to prove that they weren't "asking for it". Can you imagine how hard it would be for a man?! A gay man would face the same "he wanted it" crap that women face and a straight man would have to deal with so much mental trauma if he went public. Yes, some of these guys may be just be jumping on what they see as a money train, but I bet a lot of them are just finding courage and strength from being part of a group, knowing they are not a lone voice against a powerful star who is backed by a powerful and scary cult!
I assume many of the men went to their employers who then banned Travolta from their gym/spa/hotel, etc.

I would think a man would be loath to go to the authorities, crying rape. I think he would be more inclined to retaliate against unwanted advances, under normal circumstances. But when the offender is rich and powerful, and you are only a masseur, you gotta hold your punches.
Slut shaming, men edition? If this had happened to a woman, I HIGHLY doubt she would have come forward. Travolta is a rich, powerful person with a rich, powerful organization behind him. There is strength in numbers, and I'd be willing to bet that's why more people keep coming forward. Not because they want a ride on the gravy train.

the way the post is worded makes it sound like this was not a one time encounter. why continue to open the gym (off hours) for someone if you know that they are going to grope and fondle you against your will? Why not tell someone, or ask that someone else open the gym for John? doesnt make sense.
Why would you continue to open the gym after hours to let someone who assaulted you come back in? That just doesn't make any sense.
How many of you would let this happen repeatedly??
If I was a "victim", I would call the police ASAP and that would be the last damn time I opened the door!
We've all sat here and bitched about people like Lindsay Lohan getting away with the stuff she's done. We've bitched about OJ and Robert Blake literally getting away with murder. And you wonder why some guy who's been sexually assaulted by a huge star is hesitant to go to the police? Not to mention, who would want to piss off those crazies from COS? I sure would think twice about it! The victim would end up having their life turned inside out - all the publicity, the hounding by the media and the star - easier to pretend it never happened.
I'm not saying he didn't do it, but the implication is John kept fondling when he would open the gym for him. Something isn't quite right.
Damn, sounds like Travolta's lawyers have tons of job security for the foreseeable future!
@SusanB- I totally get what you are saying, but why not talk to the manager/owner of the gym? ask to work a different shift? Do SOMETHING to avoid the situation, if uncomfortable confronting? I'm not excusing the alleged actions...just trying to understand why the accuser would continue to put himself in a potentially harmful situation.

John hit on my male friend who was his former bodyguard a long time ago. He grabbed his dong. He's been doing this for years. Someone is just finally speaking out about it.
Since when is Vicki a reliable source? She's a reality show drug addict who lost her meal ticket looking to renew her 15 minutes. The dead man can't confirm nor deny..unless he's written it down or recorded it somewhere. Have to look elsewhere for proof. Think this whole thing is a CoS plan to pull JT back in or break him emotionally and financially on the way out. Hope he gets out of the CoS, pays the price (not just monetarily) if guilty, then moves on in life honestly.
Strength in numbers. It only takes one person to start. Just like with pedophiles. Look how it worked with the priests. This won't be any different.
And I wouldn't be surprised if someone who had issues with Xenu had a hand in this. Big issues.

Gloria Allred must spell a paycheck. Someone linked a site with a bunch of emails on a post about JT from the other day. It had someone who was trying to her to represent him, because he had had a relationship with John and thought John was having him followed and trying to have him killed. She turned him down.
