Isn't it awful? My girls are in the same age range as the Jenner girls. I see the fashion in Seventeen and want to gag. The shoes are boxy,nothing matches and the shorts are skimming the butt cheeks. My oldest covets every item except the buttcheek shorts. Thank goodness..
I love Heigl's dress exactly as much as I hate the boots. I was about to hate on the big brown bag, but it looks like it might be a baby bag so I'll leave it.

All these White celebrities and their black babies, which I am happy for, since all children should be adopted, but I would LOOOOOOVE to see the reverse, a Black celebrity adopting a white baby, hmmm wonder if there would be any sort of stigma there.

You know, with all the suspicions about Michael Jackson's kids not being his biologically, if someone were to claim (based on this photo of Leanne Rhimes) that she IS Michael's biological daughter, I'd totally believe it.
o/t, sort of. I know a couple that tried to return their 3 year old adopted child to Russia. They weren't allowed to but I still feel bad for the child who did get placed in a home but they didn't want him when they found out how much work a child is. Especially one raised as an orphan and non-English speaking.

I agree, Heigel's dress is springtime cute, the boots are silly and distracting.
Kristen is my calf idol. I have HUGE calves, and it's a bitch trying to find boots that will zip up. I even have trouble finding jeans that fit. So whenever I see her knee high boots or jeans that aren't intended to look like leggings, it gives me hope.
Fashion designers please take note if you are reading this!

OF COURSE Prince Hot Ginge loves babies. He had such a demonstrative mother. It is so HOT to see any man, let alone a Prince Ginge, who engages babies on their level! I almost cry looking at that picture. Diana brought real, normal warmth into that family through her boys. They will be wonderful fathers. jmo

I'm sure one of the reasons blacks don't adopt white babies is that they are much more sought after and far far less numerous than black babies. Plus if a black or mixed couple is after adoption, I'm sure they'd want to rescue a baby that may never get adopted.

@Looziana Magnolia - Me, too! My calves and thighs are huge, while my waist is pretty small. Pants are a nightmare and tall boots are completely impossible. All jeans look like skinny jeans on me and actual skinny jeans are not an option. And I'm not overweight by any standards other than Hollywood's. I'm pretty much a size 8. The only jeans that work for me at all are Old Navy's Dreamer style. (And I'm actually a size 6 in those! So, even better!) You might try those.

@RJ - Thanks for the suggestion! Gap used to be my go-to but they stopped making the essential cut, which didn't make my legs look like stuffed sausages. So I'll definitely give Old Navy a shot. I hope to soon find a store that doesn't make me break down crying in the dressing room b/c of my tree trunk legs.
Those aren't cankles. Cankles are when there is no clearly defined ankle between the calves and the feet.

hey- i read a blind item yesterday (maybe on Blindgossup.com) about a celebrity who recently adopted but has also cotnacted the agency about returning her adopted child... Kristen Davis? something looks awkward (unnatural) about that photo to me
I remember on Sex and the City, noting that Kristin Davis has that particular type of body with a small chest, teeny waist, and full butt and legs. Personally, I LOVE that kind of body, I think it's adorable.
