parissucks---ITA about the preggo movie. A queer source book, and you can tell it's going to be one of those terrible ensemble cast yawners, like "Valentine's Day", "New Year's Eve," etc. The scripts always telegraph who the good & bad guys are, because surprises or wit might scare mom & pop American. (I live in Middle America, I'm only dissing my own here.)
I think my two examples were Gary Marshall films, but ALL ensemble flicks in general just remind me how good "The Love Boat" was when I was a kid, comparatively.

I won't see that movie because I don't care about the subject matter but am I really supposed to believe Elizabeth Banks' character is married to that guy? The women are always gorgeous but the men are rarely so. And I'm sure it's another movie to show men as long-suffering and women as soul-sucking banshees who can never be pleased.
Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know, I based all of that off a 30 second trailer. But I'm probably right.

The first time I saw Jorge and Alexa was on this site, covering "Home" by the Magnetic Zeroes. I wish I'd known they were on, I would have watched, too!
Guilty pleasure confession -- I liked Love Actually, trite ensemble film but the circle around to the airport scenes I found adorable.

I absolutely LOVE Love Actually! My husband and I have watched it every Christmas since we got together almost 8 years ago. It's the only ensemble movie I like, but man it's good.

@califblondy - yes, I believe they did do a car commercial recently, although I can't remember which brand. Their video of them covering Home (like Robert said) was a huge viral thing last year, enty posted it here, it was everywhere. They were on Ellen as well.
