John Travolta Agrees To Mediation With 2nd Accuser
There is something to the story of John Travolta accuser #2's story. He and John are headed to mediation to work out a settlement. The second accuser was the guy in Atlanta who worked for a hotel in Atlanta. That is the one who documented everything and e-mailed his employers and himself everything. The guy had his case totally locked in and airtight and will probably get a nice settlement not only from John Travolta but from his employers too. He might have already got money from them. He claims he was sexually assaulted in the work place by a guest. The company did nothing. That's outrageous and the guy is going to get paid.

Given Travolta's history, he should of settled with the first accuser too. More and more men will start coming forward, now that number two is getting paid.
I'm glad that the guy is going to get paid, but the results of the mediation will be kept confidential. What I'd really like to see is John admitting that assaulted these men. If he weren't famous, this wouldn't be brushed under the rug so quickly.
I wonder if People will put him on the cover, or if they are being paid to ignore the story. Sad that it took this long for everything to start jumping out into the public realm.
Good for that guy if it's true and it really sounds like it absolutely is in his case. I hate it that JT turned out to be like this though.
I haven't commented on SpaGate so far because I'm bummed. I loves me some John Travolta.
I just thought he was cruising a lot, like some gay men do, but now he looks more like a predator, and that freaks me out.

I'm STILL crossing my fingers that this is a smear campaign and that he really isn't an entitled jerk. Denial will see me through!

It isn't sex with men that turns on a guy like this, it is the hunt, the power and getting his way that gets him off. If it was just being with a guy, he could have a boyfriend be his stylist or assistant, or maintenance guy for one of his planes.

Some cup theories: depending on when the pic was taken, maybe he had a young child who grabbed the straw out and threw it, as kids are known to do. Second theory: maybe it's not a drink at all, but some more snackies (popcorn?) that he put in the cup with a lid for later.

I agree, Maja! I don't want him to be a predator - looks like he is, which is wrong and sad and terrible. I want him to just be a cool guy I could hang out with and eat all the candy bars I want, with no judgments.
I'll also admit that I still think he's cute, even though he's chubby and hairy (that would make a lot of sense if you could see my hubby, who I adore).

i just don't get the hypocrisy here. doesn't his "religion" despise gays? yet, obviously that is his life choice. nothing wrong with that .. what's wrong is faking your entire life to hide who you really are.
i would have had a lot more respect for him over the years if he would just be honest.
So Travolta is settling which to me means he lied about it. Wonder how many more will come forward after this??

so I was watching some ABC show this morning...forget which, but the guy from 20/20 was on there saying its all lies. that if it were true the men would have spoken up right away. that only children and women are too scared to report sexual assault, not men.

If you want to give John Travolta a pass, it's all well and good, but don't be getting all high and mighty about the next a-hole celeb that gets exposed as a slimeball 'cause that would be really lame.
KM you are right of course. I'm no fan of Scientology and even though many are willing participants, many others are the collateral damage because of the choices their loved ones made.
If the allegations prove to be true, then I am sure you will see a much different opinion of JT.
As for schilling for CO$, I would expect someone who is super excited about, and a believer of, any religion to speak about it all the time. Born again Christians do it, as do new AA members and others, anoying as it may be sometimes, we give them a pass because we know that their excitement is genuine and new. We don't all run out and join whatever group or religion that they tout. I believe in personal accountabilty and an internal locus of control. If people join CO$, based on what they hear, and despite all of the information available that discredits the religion, then that is a choice that they have made, and they need to live with the consequences. I do not feel bad for them. The only people who I feel bad for are the children that didn't have a choice. I hope that their experiences aren't bad ones, and that they make it out ok.
John Travolta actually hit on my friend when he was his body guard years ago. John invited him in the hot tub with him...and this was before all the gay rumors. So my friend went in thinking they'd have a guy moment, drinking beers, chilling and relaxing. That was until John grabbed his dong. My friend freaked out.
Being super excited about a new group or religion is one thing. Decades of lies and distortions to your adoring fans and COS members alike, just to keep your own personal secrets and behavior quiet so you can reap wealth and the adoration of millions another thing entirely.
In the beginning maybe John believed COS would be helpful to him. but that shipped sailed along time ago. I mean, he would have had to believed the COS at one time to have starred in the most embarrasing film of all time, Battlefield Earth, right? So maybe in the beginning he felt the call. But in today's world and with all the access he has, media-wise, moey wise and just plain ol' internet sleuthing-wise, if he hasn't research the COS antics enough to disassociate himself from them, and if his son's dying didn't wake him up, I dare say he's put his own best interest before anyone and anything else.
And that's before you add in the part about him being a sexual predator who loves candy bars!

you may be right about him lying, however, most of them are phony, most have secrets, and most are nothing like we think they are. Some say they are Chrisitan when they are athiests because they think fans will respond to it, some pretend not to be gay, or eating disordered, or just mean and entitled bitches. They all lie to keep their secrets, keep fan support and make money. I assume JT believed very strongly in CO$ at some point, but I dont think that his deceptions regarding his current feelings towards the church (assuming he isnt into it anymore) are any more despicable than all the other lies we are fed by celebrities every day.
I dont condone the sexual predator actions, if true, but I really dont see a problem with the other stuff. I think it's ridiculous, but I dont think it is meant to harm anyone.
