It's a problem because he's a cheater is what I got out of it.
If he is a serial cheater, than its probably not best to bring children into such a union.
@Skipper, I must be getting her mixed up with someone else. Who recently announced they were pregnant that was also newly married (less than a year)?
8 weeks is only 2 month preggers. If it is Leighton, she may just not have announced it yet. She would barely be showing too.

the issue I imagine is you are two months pregnant recently married maybe because of the pregnancy maybe not so you find out he is cheating or cheating again, do you leave him now or do you try to make it work for the sake of the baby, the guy might be thrilled about the baby, she may not if she is an actress
remember the other blind about the actor on the cusp of A list found his SO cheating with another man even though he cheats, he was falling apart, fall off the wagon, because she called it quits, and needed a minder to finish a movie - oh I sure hope that isn't the same couple as this blind or what a bloody and sad mess if you are a fan of this couple

uhm, pregnancy can be a problem if they weren't seeing each other when she conceived, or she was also seeing someone else--in other words if the husband isn't the father.
