Blind Item #5 - Reader Blind Item
(I'm thinking that the actual time to his comeback can probably be measured in minutes associated with that frequent guest to his show.)

Charlie Rose/Matt Lauer/Louis CK/Woody allen and Toback?
Charlie, you're 76 years old, just die with some goddamned grace for once.
Toback is only 73-May be Polanski!!!! But he’s not allowed to travel here I think
How sweet, they can commiserate about the unfairness of being tried in the press.
Heard Tom Brokaw's name on the radio this morning, too.
Wasn't Tom Brokaw (and Dan Rather, as well) first rumored about years ago?
It was announced yesterday that Charlie Rose wants to do a show about #MeToo.
The only place these scumbags should come together is prison.
Charlie Rose, getting these guys together for a pity party. Is the part about minutes mean he is trying to get it on 60 Minutes?
Wasn't this already a blind?
And yet, not really a blind?
Charlie Rose planted these stories through his PR rep, they are complete BS.
Sickening. The only thing this group should do is form a bowling team. Or some other old white man hobby.
Karl Lagerfeld could be a guest too. He was making derogatory comments about me too in the news. Maybe he can meet with Polanski in France or Switzerland via live uplink. Appalling.
This was already in the NY Post. Tina Brown was talking about it at an event.
I'd watch it.
If their reasons amount to anything but "everyone did it, we're the victims of history!" it might be interesting. Which one is likely to have a slight insight into the gravity of what they did? Knives out while watching, for sure.
Summary:
Disgraced senior dementia sufferer Charlie Rose wants to start reality rehab show for celebrity sexual predators. The End.
LOL all of these people are so old they aren't even Boomers. Charlie and company were all born during or before the Second World War.
While I agree that Charlie should stay retired, let me acknowledge a couple of things. One, when he interviewed somebody he didn't agree with, he let them make their points; he didn't talk over them the way typical media newsdroids do. Two, he actually had some education and knowledge and could make some intelligent comments on news developments, unlike the bimbos on his last CBS morning show who can't utter anything more than "Oooh, disturbing!" when they heard something they weren't supposed to like.
Initially, the reader blinds were about readers’ encounters with celebrities, and they were kinda fun, as we could live vicariously a little through them. Recently, they seem to be nothing more than an attempt to write Enty-style blinds, with no personal involvement.
These are duller than dishwater. They’re merely more of the same stuff we read every day (though perhaps written a little bit better), only somehow less interesting.
I wish folks would stick to their own experiences.
So, in yesterday's blind we were told the new Charlie Rose show (suggested name Rose Colored Waders), wasn't real. It was just PR from his peeps to start us thinking about Charlie back on the air some day.
Now it's a real thing?
Who to believe?
