Natalie is still employed by NBC so I’m going with megyn, perhaps her being the leaker was why NBC didn’t fight her on paying her full contract plus not having a NDA- Megyn must have had some juicy stuff
Megyn fits but if she's dishing dirt on Lauer and she was sleeping with him, as the BI seems to indicate, wouldn't she be harming her own reputation as well? She couldn't very well be an advocate for #metoo movement if she's literally in bed with one of the biggest offenders. Plus the potential damage to her own marriage.

No way this was Megyn
She was at NBC for about 15 minutes before Matt got ousted, plus she didn’t really “host” more than her own show. The Sunday thing did like 2 episodes before they decided it was crap.
They shoved her out because she was a diva that didn’t deliver viewers after her bullshit at Fox, not because she was a leader of secrets about Matt Lauer. He wasn’t sleeping with her. Barely even talked to her.
That said, not sure this is Natalie either because they didn’t get rid of her.

+1 Bee - This is an odd one. It doesn't appear to track right for either Kelly or Morales. Anyone else at NBC? Can't be Gifford ... can it? Maybe at another network? The thinking being they wanted the anchor's loose (but non-sourced) lips gone from their place? Any anchors w/ Lauer ties at other networks?
The Megyn/Hume thing has long been debunked. They both said it’s not true and the rumor was traced to a disgruntled former Fox publicist.

NBC moved Mario Lopez to Access Hollywood to be the star of the show. Natalie's pissed off because she moved her family out to Hollywood to be the star on that show. Now she's going to quit. She's being replaced because the ratings stink and Extra will be hiring Billy Bush to be the star on THAT show which is moving from NBC to Fox and compete against Access Hollywood.
Savannah Guthrie? Wasn’t she also rumored to be sleeping with Lauer when he got the boot?

@sandybrook you really think they'll hire Billy Bush? Is he going to be the precedent setter then for their being a reprieve from bad behavior as far as being host poison? You know Later will be next.

NBC has always been known to cover up for their golden boys club.. The men that make NBC wealthy and NBC pay them very well for a job well done.. Here’s the problem (Bill Cosby) his old manager before he died gave a live interview saying “NBC knew about all Cosby date raping these women”..They paid may the hush money because the manager was the handler.. He was their cash cow..
There were several lawsuits when GE and another merged with them or NBX bought them, I can’t get that straight..Someone will correct me.. They had scandals back to back several of them..It was alleged that Matt was sleeping with everything with leg and carried in several office affairs at the same time.. They looked the other way and fired women right and left to appease Matt..Interns, volunteers and anyone to make him feel good for a few minutes...Matty’s on screen appeal never appealed to me and I’m happy he and Megan is gone..

Tamara (or whatever her name is) Hall was the leaker at The Today Show. She traded the Today stories to keep her own messy affairs out of the press. Doesn't fit this blind though.
I think it's Morales. I think them moving her to Los Angeles and putting her on that show she's on now (which I can't even remember the name of) was their way of punishing her. Sure, she's making money. But doing what? They couldn't fire her outright because then they'd be sued, etc.
