@BayAreaGirl I bet this is the attitude of the older Hollywood set. There was a similar statement quoted coming from Oprah here RE HW's casting couch. Along the lines of that's how you get ahead in Hollywood, get over yourself, and it.
There's no excuse even for old people to say stupid stuff like this. I know plenty of old people who would never say these things.

Wow. She is completely out of order in that statement and I don't think she can walk that back. That shows a startling lack of compassion for his victims (and probably for all child sexual abuse victims). As long as they grow to adulthood, get married and have children, it's all fine, right? She has a beautiful voice, but here, she just showed the world her mind.

I have always hated Barbra Streisand. She’s always seemed like the biggest, phoniest, snobbiest jerk. This doesn’t surprise me at all. Imagine, a person who has a mall inside their home, being a totally clueless asshole.

Jon, when I reached menopause (later than average age 58)to my shock, my sex drive ceased. My relief was palpable. I'd been groped too and considered it normal and appreciated. I have never quite seen a statement like Barbra made either. It's astounding not only in the obvious way, but it makes it very clear that to the Elite Ruling Class like Barbra children can be used and discarded. Think of who her friends are and think of what that could entail.
