Blind Item #5

Things are getting deeper for the back in the day A list singer turned celebrity. She isn't going to come clean, because she faces jail time if she does come clean with the fact she filed a false insurance claim.

My experience with Jewelers is they like selling you million dollar diamond rings, but they won't even give you even Pawn Shop prices when you need cash.

Sorry, Toni, that ring you paid a Million dollars for is only worth $10 now.

Should have spent the million dollars on an income property instead!

Tell her David lol!

Hold up- is this the ring she threw at the dude at the end of the “He Wasn’t Man Enough” vidja? If so, I always knew it was a bad move. You always, always, always keep the ring. Always.

DavidHowes-- LOL -- you deserve credit for the most constructive comments...a guess & usually some sound financial advice thrown in for good measure!😁

Didn't Kim K have insurance claims for the jewelry taken in the Paris robbery? How'd that go?

Insurance fraud is serious biddness. You never see someone so conflicted as a person w/ a $40k check pinned to their cork board that they are scared to cash.

Only rubes pay retail for diamonds and only complete dummies thing insurance value is real.

When you sell jewelry, you basically get scrap value, maybe a small premium if the setting is snappy.

Miss Teak i think it was Robin Givens who threw that ring...still good advice.

Diamonds are a scam. A common gem propped up by the advertising of the De Beers cabal.

Thanks, Snowy. Time hasn’t been kind to my memory :- )

Lab created stones work fine. Most people never know. If someone wants to look..say sure, but i was just picking my butt with my ring finger...but go ahead.

David, you are truly a ray of sunshine here! Also, you’ve taught me a bit about real estate, so, thank you! 😃

just go to the Crater of Diamonds state park in Arkansas and find your own diamond. there are still a few mines around the US that are partially open to the public to dig around and find various stones.

Diamonds appreciate in value; however, when one goes to sell, the most the seller can get is 40% of the value. Sad, but true. Still, 40% of 40K is nothing to sniff at, especially if it's an inherited ring, and no cash outlay for the seller.
