There was an incident during the filming of a video where his contact lenses got fused to his eyes, something to do with a light malfunction?

:( One of the best performances I've ever seen at Neil Young's acoustic Bridge benefits - and there's been a lot of performers. Idol was AWESOME and got everyone on their feet except the studiously disaffected DMB fans sitting behind us. The benefit is a for a school that helps severely communication disabled kids and they have the kids on stage - Idol played to them repeatedly, and charmed them as well.

Extremely long time lurker...thought I would pop up on the first day of this year. This reveal makes me sad...I had the biggest crush on Billy Idol and his snarl when I was younger...*le sigh*
Perhaps he is going blind but this can be corrected through surgery? This is sad and I hope it isn't permanent. He also was in a nasty motorcycle accident, so who knows.

Well this sucks that it is Billy Idol... but I did guess right. Amazing for my first guess on these Blind Items! And I still have a crush on Billy Idol!!! Man I love him.

But now Bad Fish is doing it under Love, Lutefisk, lol,so I don't know who I will be.
I haven't been posting because we have been on vacation, & I have to steal a laptop every now & then to come on.
