Samantha Ronson's Dog Kills Another Dog
Yesterday, while Samantha Ronson was sleeping, one of her friends let Samantha's bulldog out into the hallway of the apartment building where she lives. The next thing you know there was a human scream and a dead Maltese. Although Sam took to her Twitter and apologized and has now sent her bulldog to friends on the east coast, I would still be worried about that dog in its new home.
"I feel incredibly sad and wish I could offer more than condolences, unfortunately there are no words to describe how sorry I am. There is absolutely nothing I can say that will alter one minute of today, nothing."
According to TMZ, Sam's bulldog has bitten another dog and apparently a human in the building on previous occasions. In fact, after the last dog biting, Sam agreed to send the bulldog to doggy training. The dog just got back five days ago. If I am living next door to any of Samantha Ronson's east coast relatives or friends or wherever the dog is, I have to admit I am a little worried for small kids and other dogs.

All people who get bitten by any dog and refuse to press charges or make a medical report of it truly do a disservice to everyone else in the area. Here, anyway, the authorities can't do shit if the victim doesn't make a report. Gyahh! Makes me crazy. It's total disrespect to all the neighbors letting the dog and its owner off the hook like that. And to the people in the east coast place wherever they shipped this ugly mutt off to.
So as always it is up to the people around the dog to make it disappear. We don't eff around with that crap around here.
Dogs are DOGS. And there are millions of them waiting for good homes if one cannot be controlled, for f*ck's sake!

booo i have a maltese and this is sad. BUT the maltese can be agressive out of fear so maybe the smaller dog went after the bigger dog. Mine thinks she's the size of a doberman...i'm like hey idiot you're the size of my foot back down.
I wouldn't blame Samantha in this. It was her idiot friend that let the dog out into the hallway. Who lets a dog out into the hallway to roam around unsupervised?
It's a tragic story for everyone involved. Samantha sounds like she's just as upset as anyone else. Poor Maltese ... hopefully the bulldog moved somewhere with a lot of land to run off some of that energy.
The part that gets me is the dog has done this before and they out with other animals by themselves. If you know your dog has problems and you want to try to help him, do not leave him out by himself. I also wonder how the dog got that way. One time when my family got a rescue dog and he bite someone the vet said that he got it from being outside for the first three years and would never be trainable. I wonder if that was the case for them and they wouldn't listen. Either way I still thinkthat it still comes down to an irresponsible trainer.

Sounds to me like a whole bunch of bullshit. How do we know Samantha was "sleeping"? Anyone who knowingly ships off an agressive biter to "friends" instead of manning up, (pun intended) and putting the dog humanely down, is a huge coward in my book. That was just the ultimate disrespect for this poor dog and owner that she is "so, so sorry for". I hope the owner of the maltese sues this dirtbag AND L.A.'s animal control- why they didn't take the dog right then and there is beyond belief.
The dog should be put down. What a tragedy for the owner, to lose her dog and have her killed *in front of her* and also be bitten. Ronson's dog attacked both dogs (I'll make it plural, because seriously, who thinks it happened only twice?) and humans before the latest attack. Unconscionable.
I hope Ronson - an overrated, tremendously irresponsible, arrogant, rich-brat piece of shit gets her scrawny ass sued into 2014.
Really easy to take to Twitter with your 'I'm sowwy!' now that there's death and injury in your wake. And way to take care of things - ship the dog east. What the fuck?
You can't "send" your dog to dog training and expect the dog will then be all OK. First of all, the owner MUST be present at, and particiapte in, ALL TRAINING. Second, training does not equal behavior modification. Training is stuff like sit, down, stay, roll over. Behavior modification is much more complex and involved and requires someone witha background and/or degree in animal behavior.

Many of these celebrities aren't even around enough to take care of their animals or bond with them or train them. My uncle always had house dogs and hunting dogs and he spent a great deal of time training them and taking care of them.
Where I live in Texas it is common for parents to get a dog for the kids and otherwise ignore it. We have nasty chihuahuas running around who have been abused by the kids.

I adore dogs, but if my Chow, who is naturally aggressive, ever attacked another dog or human, I would have her put down, as much as that would kill me (not to mention her). You can't have that. There's no doubt in my mind that if this dog is left unattended with another opportunity, he will attack again, because it is his nature.
If you know you have an aggressive dog, you need to keep them on a leash at all times, and even then, you still have to watch them. Poor little Maltese. How horrifying. :(
Dog training has nothing to do with treating aggression issues. Particularly if the dog was sent AWAY from the owner for the training. Dogs are aggressive when they are a scared, nervous, anxious (or they have been taught to be aggressive which I don't think was the case here). They get that way when they feel they do not have a LEADER. Dogs are pack animals and they need YOU as their owner, to be the alpha dog, and they need to have total trust in you. When they don't see you as dominant, they feel like they have to take over that role, and they become aggressive towards other animals and even humans. They don't know how to determine what is a threat and what is not, because your behaviour is giving them nothing, and they are constantly anxious and constantly treating everyone they don't know as a threat, and sometimes even those they do know. Anyone who doesn't understand why their dog bites or attacks has no idea about raising dogs, and probably shouldn't have them.
It's REALLY sad that the other dog died. I thought I read it also attacked the Maltese's owner? I have to agree with Jingle Belle though. If you know the dog is aggressive,you don't just let it out to wander the halls (WTF does that with a passive dog??)
