Sting
Or Robert Plant?
I'll agree with Sting, though, Plant's solo career's mainly been followed by classic rock fans, and the only youngsters who know who he is are those he's helped through his performing arts courses and paying for their studio time.
Yes, he just cancelled his tour. Gorgeous voice.
Phil Collins comes to mind, though I think he retired several years ago due to health issues.
Phil Collins is on tour again, just finished up Europe and back to the States.
I was going to say Plant but his solo career wasn't legendary.
Hope it isn't Peter Gabriel, speaking of Collins.
@Lucky13 Youngsters know who Robert Plant is but I don't believe he is the subject of this blind. The son of one of my friends idolizes Jimmy Page as a guitarist. She was trying to help him get his hair to look like Jimmy's. This was a few years ago and during the hair grow out phase he was teased about looking like Justin Beiber too often and her son decided to abandon the Jimmy Page hair project.
Such a good voice. Love him
Sting, Macca, David Byrne and Collins are the ones that come to mind.
McCartney would be described as A+/A+, right?
mccartney rates an A++, imo.
I believe throat cancer comes from eating rancid snatch? Fuckin' Trudy.
Sting
smoking causes throat cancer - I reckon this is Phil Collins.
Sting has cancelled several tour dates due to "doctor's orders".
LMFAO
@Jon...That would have to be an awful lot of awful...
@unknown — The Jimmy Page Hair Project would be an AWESOME band name!!!

Sting - buzz, geddit?
its open marriage who fucks around with yachters. gross
This sounds like Morrissey (Smiths + solo). He's been sick with cancer, has cancelled, then restarted tours. If he wasn't so cranky, and irritable, he'd be praised like he'd climbed Everest. Any Canadian who thought The Tragically Hip's final tour was over wrought with Saint Gord Dowie's last stand might agree.
Please don't be Sting. It would be heartbreaking to me.
Oh, Sting. The music he’s created over the years, I don’t really listen to it, but the fact that he’s making it, I respect that.
That’s one of my favorite scenes from Zoolander, and I would truly hate for this to be him- not that it should be anyone else, he and Peter Gabriel are part of the soundtrack of my youth. Anyone else recall how crazy the Sledgehammer video was? 😆
Sting was just in the DM, bet (but hope) it's not him. Looked kinda gnarly though.
That's a bad one.
Lost 2 people close to me.
Can't talk can't eat, horrific.
If aggressive, it kills fast. My dad's was about 8 months.
Rod Stewart has had throat surgery and in my generation The Faces were big.
Don't remind me of St. Gord Downie. If CBC shows that documentary one more time, I will pull my cable subscription
Buzz, bee Sting. Prayers to him
Roscoe P Coltrane
Vic Morrow
Garfield
The possibilities are endless.
Sting would be my guess too. What a terrible shame.
Jimmy Page used to carry around a hair crimper to get his curls exactly how he wanted them to look. He was always primping in front of a mirror fixing his hair.
Heatherbee... Sledgehammer...what about Shock the Monkey for Peter G. One of my fav videos EVER. Genius.
All the others are either still on tour or if they've cancelled, have said why. Eddie Money-- pneumonia, Dave Mustaine has throat cancer, Brian Wilson's cancelled for mental health reasons. Gotta be sting. https://twitter.com/OfficialSting/status/1148665147948437509
Macca is on tour right now.
Matthew Perry checked into a hospital.
Totally unrelated to this blind, but I know we were all worried about him the other day. Hopefully, this is a good sign.
Since when was/is Matthew Perry a foreign born permanent A list singer?
That’s why Freebird said ‘Totally unrelated to this blind.’
Phil Collins has new activity in the works, not him.
I loved listening to Jay Thomas on Sirius- he had a crazy talk show. Jay died of throat cancer in 2017 (almost exactly 2 years ago) and he went through hell- so many brutal surgeries and treatments. So sad- terrible way to die. I hope this rumor is not true about the famous singer.
