Blind Items Revealed #3

September 1, 2019

Kudos to this permanent A list mostly movie actor for taking a movie that had to delay its premiere because it needed so much work and doing some reshoots he could have blown off per his contract. He made it happen and now the movie is decent. It feels the same as countless other movies which feature the same type premise, but at least it doesn't suck any longer.

Brad Pitt/Ad Astra

Just like in World War Z... when the world needs saving and only one man can do it, choose the sleepy stoner.

I love it when he dresses like a Mexican.

These movies where it's an actor on a computer in a space ship or on another planet are INTOLERABLE>
oh yeah Brad Pitt or Matt Damon with a PC . How provocative?!~

Every time I see "Ad Astra" I think it's the Internet advertising company that places the links on Twitter!

Can't wait to see the knockoff Ad Astroglide

He’s no Mensa member but he does give a damn about his efforts which I find commendable... as a ticket buyer.

Every time I see an Ad Astra commercial all I can think of is "what's Ed Asner been up to?"

He's carrying the movie of course he wants it to do well. He's part of a dying breed of movie stars. He's going to do what he has to, to make it work.

Saw the trailer for it and sorry..even that was unwatchable

No offense but his last great movie was Fight Club, everything since has been well, passable. It's not his acting of course, he delivers, it's the movies. Pitt is great, but Keanu has a much better resume.

I'm sorry to disagree, but Spy Game, Troy, Mr & Mrs Smith, Megamind, The Big Short are just a few great movies since he did Fight Club.

Troy was terrible. A movie filled with chip n dale dancers.

Why Kudos to him? It should be the norm that people care about their work.
It is in his best interest. He has to go promote it. The movie is on his resume.

@riffer, I enjoyed Mr & Mrs Smith, but it's not memorable. I'm talking great movies, sh!t you go out and buy even after you've seen it in the theater or streaming. Now great is a tall order, but isn't Pitt supposed to be the biggest actor in Hollywood? If he wants to be in a movie, odds are he's going to be in that movie. When I see Pitt's name now, I look away, because I have no faith that what he's in is going to be any good.

Keanu, now I know his sh!t is going to have some redeemable value.

@riffer: What about "The Counselor"? It seems to have flown under the radar. Cameron Diaz, Michael Fassbender, Rosie Perez (and all actors involved) were also good.

I love Brad Pitt in Guy Ritchie movies. Hilarious.

Ad Astra was a great movie and was critically acclaimed. It also made back its production budget.

Maybe the site should stop being biased against Brad Pitt since neither of the hit pieces his exes plant against him are credible at all.
