There sure is a lot of amazing talent listed here!

Does anyone stand any chance against the Heath Ledger sympathy vote? I'm still pissed at his family for saying they don't want Michelle Williams to accept awards on his behalf because she wasn't his wife. She's the mother of his child, for god's sake.

Tina Fey will probably win for Sarah Palin, not "30 Rock." :) Not that I don't love her, or think she completely deserves it, but I think it would be neat if Applegate won instead.

Are you effing kidding me?!? William Shatner AND James Spader. This show can't be gone fast enough for me.

Ok, I will admit that I don't watch the show (so I know I shouldn't judge) but nothing, nada, for Lost or any of the other amazing DRAMA'S on the air?!?

Oh, and didn't want to make it sound like Heath's winning would be undeserved - he really did do an incredible job with that role.

Oh, now you've made me sad amh.p - I forgot that I wanted Michael Emerson to win every single award he was eligible for this year.

didn't mean to make you sad, but I will say this... Michael Emerson is so underrated by the critics, I can't stand it. NEVER did I think I would like or care about his character so bravo to the writers and the amazing Emerson for his portrayal of Benjamin Linus!

I like that list better than the Globes, good to see Milk and The Wrestler get some props.

I missed the days when as a SAG member you were able to go see the movies at a theater for free, just show your SAG card. Now you have to go to screenings with only a days notice and they usually sell out. Also with video piracy, the studios no longer want to send out dvd copies of their films, another sucky thing.

i hope heath ledger doesn't win. i saw the movie and yes, he was good in it. but if he were alive, nobody would be talking about this like he was olivier or something. it was a fucking BATMAN movie, for chrissake. i loved heath---but i hate the sentimentality of the nomination.

At first I was annoyed with the whole Heath must win crusade considering no one knew who would be his competition at the awards. Now I just don't want the Jolie-Pitt's to win.

If either one of them wins I will probably stop watching awards shows and I love watching the Globe's, SAG and Oscars. Look forward to it with baited breath every year.

Here's hoping and praying those two don't win.

No disrespect to the Pitt-Jolie fans but GOD I hope you don't get your way this time. These people like many other celebrities need to just go away for real for at least a year so that people can miss them.

Can someone PLEASE explain to me WHY Boston Legal is up for ANY awards? It's boring as SHIT. Someone must be buying votes.

Actually, Enty, we should talk about those shows that are good and DON'T get recognized. There's Life, starring the fantastic Damian Lewis. And I'd also like to mention an hilarious show called "The Big Bang Theory", which is a real comedy - you know - the ones that actually make you laugh out loud.

Just out of curiosity.... anyone else wonder who DiCaprio pissed off - or was he just not that good to miss a nomination?

Mad Men!

Love that Hamm and Moss are recognized for their fantastic work. Cable is kicking network's ass more and more.

Am also thrilled to see Richard Jenkins get a nom. SAG awards are always cool. No fuss or lame entertainment, just nominees and speeches.

Changeling was an ASTONISHINGLY bad film. I started laughing at some of the ridiculous Melrose Place type contrived coincidences that kept piling up. The true story was shocking and dramatic enough without getting pimped like that. And Jolie did NOT rise above the material. OK. . . I just had to rant about that movie since I still resent paying to see it.
