Natalie Portman Engaged And Pregnant

I know there will be many, many guys who are disappointed by the news that not only is Natalie Portman getting married, she is also pregnant. Talk about coming out of the blue. Natalie and her publicist, who hates me more than any other publicist, told Kneepads Magazine that Natalie and some guy named Benjamin Centipede. Oh, wait Millepied are engaged. And expecting baby. Benjamin was the choreographer on Black Swan and it looks like he was doing a little other choreography if you know what I mean.

The next movie Natalie does will be with Ashton Kutcher so all the good reviews she got from this movie will pretty much be all erased in one 94 minute film disaster.

Why does Portman's publicist hate you?

Slumming with Ashton? Really, Natalie.

I've always thought Natalie was beautiful. I thought she seemed sweet as well. But now I keep reading she is super stuck up, which is a downer. Anyways, I hope she is happy. Also, does anyone else think she and Ashley Judd look alike?

I saw the preview for the Asthon movie. Shame on Natalie for agreeing to do that schlock after Black Swan.

If she doesn't win the Oscar then the Oscars can blow me.

Black Swan was GREAT!!! Must see, if you have not. I wanted to send her flowers after seeing it.

Any movie released in Jan is floplish. But I want to see Vince Vaughn and Kevin James' pic.

Wasn't there a blind about an actress being pregnant recently (not the one where her partner is a woman)? I am trying to remember but can't. I'll look back.

timebob said...

I think this is the blind item where the actress got knocked up by a one night stand and will say her boyfriend is the father but can't be becuase they haven't had sex in six months.

I thought it was going to be Winona Ryder. I was close she was in the movie :0)

natalie portman is not stuck up, but she is reserved. she's not a "party over here" type of gal.

Her publicist probably hates Enty becuase he is the one who revealed she never returns a.k.a. steals clothes from high end designers. And might of been messing around with Moby while she was still underage. He likes 'em young.

I don't think any magazine had done anything but put her in a good light.

I have loved her since The Professional so I don't care if she is pouty or not.

She seems ok, but the wooden acting in the Star Wars movies was pretty bad.

Portman is a reputed man stealer. Her fiance had a live-in girlfriend when they met and she got rid of her tout suite.

I guess I'm uber old-fashioned. but can't any of these Hollywood types get married first THEN get a bun in the oven?

My husband will be devestated about this news. Natalie Portman is on his celebrity crush list. And it pains me to admit this, but so is Gwyneth Paltrow. Eek.

KLM said...

Ouch, Susan. Fishsticks is grounds for divorce. And yes timebob, that was the blind I was thinking of - I looked back under the tag "blind" but never found it. Does it actually fit though - I mean, how long have those two even been together?

She never said she was a role model.

@timebob-I didn't know she was with Moby.

KLM: It was a BuzzFoto blind - not an Enty one.

Trey said...

Moby really? I thought he was gay...

Susan said...

For reals, KLM. LOL.

KLM said...

Aha! That would explain why my tag search didn't work - thanks Cecilla00. However, in my search I did find a clue about MV from early November that I never saw! I wonder how that happened...

Oh crap, there goes my Karma points for the day.

meh. she's an asshole and idc.

let's hear the publicist story. that sounds juicy and far more fun.

I second what Tin said ... I thought Moby was gay?

I'm enjoying your posts today timebob!

I've loved Natalie since The Professional too.

Linnea said...

im with pookie here, can that be a reveal?

Marna Palmer said...

Shotgun, bang, what's up with that thang?

M said...

Isn't Moby gay? I know some folks already asked above, but I wouldn't have been able to sleep tonight without asking in a public forum...

Cheryl said...

Meir: My sister at one point was a high end call girl (about 7 years ago) and Moby was a client of hers. Not gay, but she won't say any more than that.

Wasn't Natalie a blind item reveal a couple of years ago? She was extremely rude to the doorman in her NYC building--demanding to go to the front of the line to get her mail and packages and huffy because she had to wait like everyone else. Something about her refusing to acknowledge the presence of anyone else in the building common areas (elevators and the like). It was awful and it changed my opinion about her completely.

I've been seeing the trailers for that Natalie Portman/Ashton Kutcher movie, it looks terrible. Black Swan was a very guilty pleasure for me.

#1 The summer this B list film actress who I love to rag on as of late was in Shakespeare in the Park, she lived in the building. The building is in Manhattan that was home to many celebs on a permanent basis or just while they were doing a stint in a play or something. So, our actress lived in the building that summer under an assumed name because she didn't want to be bothered. Fine...who cares. No one in the building really cared about famous people living there. There was no mail room at this building, but rather a concierge who gave out mail. All of the mail was in pigeon holes and generally, the concierge knew you and got your mail as you came to the desk. Sometimes there were a few people there so you had to wait. Fine...well, not fine for our actress. Once, while a person was getting their mail and chatting with the concierge for a moment, he got the mail and told the person they had a package in the back so he was going to get it. Before he went to get the package, our actress came up and asked for her stuff. She was told to wait since there was another person there ahead of her. She didn't like that at all. So she said, I can't wait and I want my stuff now. The concierge ignored her. She was so steamed and unfortunately, the person ahead of our actress in line had to ride in the elevator together. She had previously asked the security guard if she could have the elevator to herself. He promptly told her that that is not how things work in the building...but in a really nice way.

Moby has been linked to Thora Birch, Christina Ricci, and Natalie Portman--all when they were barely legal.
Wanna guess his type?

...and the hearts of millions of geeky guys are breaking tonight. *sniff*

JoElla--that was my thought, too; being seen as all sweet & maternal during Oscar Season can't hurt her chances one bit, esp. when her supposed main competition is Annette Bening (mother of 3, seen as waaaaay overdue, has put up w/Warren Beatty for nearly 20 years). Hopefully, this is just me being cynical & not part of a game plan, and I wish them both all the best.

I disagree. I believe her Oscar chances are in real jepordy. What's clearly a shotgun wedding for an actress who has spent her whole career marketing herself as the "Intelligent, Has it together, Emotionally Healthy" actress.

This news totally goes against that heavily hyped persona, and may turn off many academy members who are elderly and look down on such things.

Besides the Oscar, having a baby when you're in your prime as a hearthrob, male object of lust is one of the fastest career killers. Because when you fit that role, being a Mom ruins the "fantasy". E.G. - Brittany Spears, Jessica Alba

Not to mention how if she is the one in the blind, that's a horrible way to raise a kid. Having the child believe someone is their father when they are not, is going to mess the head up of that kid and create all kinds of trust issues and emotional problems. Not very present for an actress who markets herself as "the healthy one" with the psychology degree.

That persona clashing with these real world events, could really hurt her chances to win IMHO. I don't know why they announced it now, other than she must be far enough along that she'll be obviously pregnant by the time she walks the red carpets.

I'm also wondering about the health of the baby, considering the cocaine rumors surrounding her. (She did after all name her production company "Handsome Charlie" and "Charlie" is British slang for Cocaine)

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news people, but while actresses are very pretty, they are never emotionally healthy and/or make for good relationships. As long as I've lived in L.A. and work in this biz, I hear more often and often "Don't. Date. An. Actress. Ever."

Portman now proves that the "mentally and emotionally healthy actress" is just as much of a myth as a Mermaid, Siren, Sasquatch and The Yeti.

I saw Black Swan and didn't think it was all that. Also don't think it's Oscar worthy.

I must be missing something---she is with this guy for over a year. Why would he not be the father?

Another pregnant Anorexic.

I thought Black Swan was Showgirls with tutus. I liked Mila Kunis in it and for once Wanna Ride Her did not bother me.

I bet she is pretty far a long and that's why it was announced.

I agree with Gary. I have never heard anything positive about dating or marrying actors, male or female.

I was surprised by the news b/c I thought she was single.

I always laugh at Enty's "if you know what I mean" :)

She looks so gorg here. I heard Black Swan is fantastic, so I'm sure she is a front runner for the Oscar.
