This is why i hate #metoo, you only kick out the front man hence making him the fall out guy while the big guys who actually own/control/run the show stay behind and continue their misogynic practices in secrecy.#metoo is a shithow in itself.#getridofthebigdogsnexttime

Matt “I gave Savannah the Alabama Hot Pocket” Lauer

Not sure I would go so far as to call him a rapist. Sexual harassment for sure but rape, I doubt it.

He had a freaking rape button

Why does Andrew Lack still have a job?

NBC and Matt
They let him run the show and he's did some horrible things to others

All of them. Ratings trump assault victims

Amazing how mainstream media just sort of ignores what's been going on at NBC.

SDaly said...

Why hasn't Jeff Zucker, the man currently ruining CNN but head of NBC while the Lauer fiasco was in full swing, been asked about this?

MissDavie said...

The other networks probably ignore what went on at NBC because the same thing went on with them.

Brayson87 said...

@Vince, Probably because they only pay lip service to #MeToo. They're hoping it's a passing fad so they can go back to their Mad Men working environments.

How can they stick up for him? They fired him as soon as there was a formal complaint made against her.
Lauer's only "defense" was "she didn't cry."
There's no defending Lauer. The only question is, when did the NBC executives know all this about Lauer?
