You Don't Want To Mess With Bjork
You should know that anyone who has the guts to wear a swan outfit to the Academy Awards is probably not a woman you want to piss off. Of course if you don't think that, you can just look at the fact that she has been in trouble before for assault, and she drinks one liter of vodka each and every Friday whether she needs it or not. Her drinking the other days can be less or more, but on Fridays, she always drinks exactly one liter of vodka.
So with this knowledge in mind, a photographer from the New Zealand Herald should have expected the ass kicking he got from Bjork when she asked him to stop taking photos of her. Jeffrey ignored her and continued taking photos. He then made a fatal mistake. He turned his back. Never turn your back to a Bjork.
Here is what Jeffrey had to say about the incident. "I took a couple of pictures and I got about three or four frames of her... and as I turned and walked away she came up behind me, grabbed the back of my black skivvy [sweatshirt] and tore it down the back. I don't see being assaulted as I'm working as a press photographer as an acceptable thing. If anybody assaults anybody you have the right to a legal recourse, whoever they are."
With all that being said, Jeffrey says he is not going to press charges. The scene below is the 1996 beating Bjork gave to another reporter.

I'm no fan of the paps but that's out of order, Bjork should be charged for assault.
If someone was in your face day in and day out, you may go mental too. I'm with Bjork (pronounced B yerk). That video shows a great beatdown. She's awesome and not some cookie cutout bimbo with no talent.
So awesome she's behaves that way in front of her child, wow what a great role model.
I don't think you have to behave like an animal to prove you're not a bimbo.
I know Paps are people too, but I have a hard time feeling bad for them when stuff like this happens. I would freak out if someone jumped out of the bushes and started taking pictures of me.
@alice w: I don't think it has anything to do with looking smart. The woman got in her face and she reacted accordingly.
Can't STAND Bjork. She's a fucked up head case, HOWEVER....
I only wish they would turn her loose on the douchebag paps on L.A.
Why do I still laugh at this clip? The sound of Bjork getting beaned with the microphone is priceless. You'd think she'd be the one celebrity that paps stayed away from.
Girl got issues. Probably not the right way to resolve a situation, though I can guess at how invasive it must be to have cameras in your face when you're not feeling up to it. I get mad when people try to take my picture when my lipstick isn't fresh.

The thing is if you or I behaved that way we'd be arrested or similar. The famous get away with murder these days, literally in some cases.
I find some of the comments on here hypocritical, considering this type of site would struggle to exist without the paps. Bjork needs publicity to sell her albums. All she had to do was walk through the airport and keep her head down, hardly a high price to pay for her success.
No, what you dont understand is that we want our gossip and catfights too. We can have it all...haven't you noticed?
The first time Bjork attacked a pap, the reason she gave was that that person had touched her son.
