Lindsay Lohan - Not So Noble
Yesterday, TMZ reported that Lindsay Lohan would not be hosting any New Year's parties because she wanted to get away from her party girl image. Well, that did not take long. Someone in Dubai wrote a nice fat check so Lindsay, Pamela Anderson and a bunch of D listers that even I have not heard of will be partying on the QE2 in Dubai. The event marks the first time the QE2 has been used for an event like this. Oh, I am sure that between Lindsay and Pamela they will make it memorable. This will also give a chance to let Lindsay do some networking with Middle Eastern men who have money. Lindsay is probably jealous that for some reason Paris Hilton has had a foothold in the market the past few years.

@Vicki - They are mostly offered (allegedly) a 100k bonus for a 6-week stay. and that also (allegedly) does not guarantee you getting picked up to sleep with the master. Allegedly.
Is prostitution even illegal in all meddle eastern countries? It seems like it's so obvious that it would probably legal.

Ha! This is probably her highest offer yet! I would imagine that that's a hard club to get into. I bet once they see she's way more trouble than she's worth she won't be "invited" again and Paris will be the fave once again.

And despite all the comments, I do feel sorry for her. Her parents did her no favors, and she's reduced to earning her money on her back when she could have owned that town. Sad to see the talent, and the human, wasted.
Didn't Dubai just suffer through a recession this year? Whatever they're paying Lindsay can't be very much. I'm sure they're probably expecting Lindsay to do a little more than just show up and party. I feel bad for everybody that's going to be on that boat. At least she might provide them some entertainment by getting so drunk she'll re-enact that "I'm the king of the world." moment from Titanic by hanging from the bow of the yacht, only to slip and fall 100 feet into the freezing water. And I hope it happens just at the stroke of midnight too. I hope nobody even realizes she's missing and leaves her stranded in the water. Happy 2012 to all indeed.

I thought she wasn't allowed to leave the country? There are rumours going around that they are trying to get Lindsay for UK Big Brother, which starts 2 days after this party. So I can see a judge letting her go since it will appear to be legitimate work. Ha! I'd love to see her in that house. Yes they are allowed booze, but they have to earn it and they don't get near as much as she is probably used to.
Per Wikipedia, the QE2 is very fuel efficient and at top speeds gets 49.5 feet per gallon.

The QE2 is parked at a port in Dubai. Cunard sold it to Debai World a few years ago. It was supposed to be a floating hotel at one of the palm island resorts thingies over there, but as someone said the recession hit hard there this year and some big money dried up.
