Today's Blind Items
This former almost A list female singer who does not do too badly for herself in her other endeavors now, gave her boyfriend a certain amount of money she wanted him to spend on her for Christmas. She even told him what she wanted and when she was planning on displaying it on public. Not only did the boyfriend not get what she wanted him to get, he apparently pocketed about 85% of the funds she gave him for the present and says he should get it as a bonus for his efforts this year.

Definitely Jessica Simpson who never quite made it to A list and makes lots of money off her shoes and bags. She really needs to work on her self-esteem, stop trying so hard to land a man, and stop listening to her father who probably encourages this crap.

My first thought was Britney, but I'm guessing she was a-list at some point.
I would think it to be Jessica only because she was completely obnoxious about bragging about the orange Berkin bag "he" bought her for her birthday. But she was never close to A list as a singer. Not even close to B list. She was close to A list because of a reality show.
That said, I'm not going to judge on the richer person in a couple giving money to the other one to get them (the richer person) a present.
@momster - I think her father would be giving her fiancé the money, she doesn't have access to her accounts anymore :(

i like the jessica s. guess...but i'm on board w/ Anita in that she was a-list b/c of her show, not so much the singing. even soundscan can back up those numbers.
and not jho b/c while she may be a-list...it was never for 'singing'. *still waiting for her to tour* further, the bentley continental that the new boy toy drove around in is hers...she's had that particular one since '09 and still drives it. also have to agree w/ Ms Snarky that he's not been around long enough to feel entitled...enty clearly states '...for his efforts this year', which leads me to believe that he means more than just the past month.
as much as it pains me to say it (b/c i love this girl), i think it might be christina a. boo hiss on the bf if it is. :(

My first thought was JBlow! She is all over the place! I can't pick up a mag without looking at her face. She sells make-up, clothes, cars, etc. Also, Casper the Friendly Ghost, is sleazy!
Xtina only does the Voice and is does not have as many deals. Chestica was never A list, but she is engaged. She got the baby out of her sugar boy.

JLo - No. As said above, her boy toy hasn't been around much to feel entitled nor has he done anything this year to warrant a "bonus"
Britney - No. She can give him money. Regardless of the conservatorship still being in place her dad's loosened up a lot now that she's been doing so well and she has access to plenty of her money. But, although Jason is not famous to most the world, he's a huge ex-agent and used to work with like Heidi Klum and Taylor Swift. He makes plenty of his own money.
Jessica - Yes, that's my vote. Depending on perspective she'd be almost A list. Everyone knows who she is. She's had multi-platinum albums and won several teen choice awards with are all viewer voted. I think it just depends on how you see it. But back in the day there were the big 3. Britney, Xtina and Jessica. She was the lower of the trio but still close to A list IMO. And she's eventhough she's engaged, he's still her boyfriend. Yes, fiance too, but still just her boyfriend until he becomes her husband. Lots of people still refer to their significant other as boyfriend/girlfriend while they are engaged. I almost never used the term fiance. It seemed like I was trying to show off. And I agree that he feels entitled AND the thinking he deserves a bonus makes total sense since he knocked her up.
i'm going with X Tina's boy toy. He seems smarmy enough and I don't think he is on an allowance the way Jessica's man is. Eric doesn't have to steal money.
So he has to take what he can get when he can get it.

Jessica's man gets a pre-determined allowance, I think. No need to give him money and tell him what to buy. This smells like Christina and her man.

With all due respect, Jessica was never in the same stratosphere as Britney and Christina were. Embarrassingly enough for her, her sister sold better than she did.
See I agree that jessica never came close to what Britney and Christina did. But those 3 were always grouped together. The blonde pop singers. But to me Britney and Christina are both A list. Where as during jess's newlywed era (during which she was still cranking out albums) she got hugely popular and got real close to A list but without Nick she lost her appeal. Britney and Christina also both still sing while Jessica doesn't do much of anything anymore but promote her clothes/shoes/bags. Hence the use of the word former. This is why I hate that there isnt more structure to the "list" thing. It's all opinion so no one can be wrong. Different bloggers don't even use the same rankings sometimes.

You must've missed all the pap pics of him out showing off driving her Bentley. That boy is not suffering from a lack of self-esteem! He clearly thinks he's god's gift.

I am more apt to believe this is Christina Aguilera.
Simply cause Christina has been a drunken train wreck... all year.
And that Kfed of her's most likely is not on a monthly allowance like Jessica's Kfed.
So I am picking Christina Aguilera and her Kfed... since he probably has not gotten hazard pay till now.
I'm on the Xtina train here..like someone already said, he had to out up with her drunk ass all year. Plus she's closer to A list than Chestica. Oh and I was surfing the tv and came across a concert that she and Asslee were doing for Christmas. The warbling was horrible! Neither one of them can sing and Asslee was all over the stage like it was a punk concert.
I know 'regular' women that do this sort of thing. It's both pathetic and overbearing at the same time.
I say it's Christina Aguilera because of the mention of other projects doing well even if the music hasn't (Bionic vs The Voice).

Well JBlow did have a number one album with On the 6, and she has endorsements up the kazoo. I think Jblow is more A list the Chestica, but either of them could be this blind.
I think JLo. She's disgusting and his efforts this year could refer to his back up dancing too.
Am I the only one who thinks it's funny he pocketed the cash? I mean, if you really want something go out and buy it for yourself, why lie about it all? I would be offended by the instruction. He could have had a great gift for her that didn't cost a wad of cash, not all gifts have to cost $$$ to be special.
Christinas' bf did get a DUI and he could mean that in "his efforts this year." She didn't make him drive drunk but getting wasted does seem to be her favorite passtime now.
Could be Jessica though, she's not too bright. She could have had her assistant buy the items and say they were from the bf. He would never need to touch the gifts or the money.
This sounds like a break up waiting to happen.
