Brian McKnight's ex-wife (and mother of these children), Julie, lives in my city and I have had the pleasure of meeting her several times. She is such an amazing woman. Strong, positive, full of life, amazing singer herself, and her smile literally lights up the room! It has been heartbreaking to see how hurt the kids are by their father, but I take peace in knowing that they at least have one loving and committed parent who would do anything in the world for them.
I've always thought Brian McKnight was overrated.
