Lainey Blind Item
Recently reunited with his long time lover, this celebrated actor is supposed to be taking his new role seriously … which is why perhaps why he has spent several late nights hitting up the decadent continental club scene, rolling in at no earlier than 3am and staying til sun up. Three times in the last 5 days. And there’s nothing wrong with that…only on 2 of those nights he hasn’t left alone. They are leggy and orange and immediately replaceable. Would certainly go against the recommitment but then again, maybe that’s how the recommitment was arranged.

i dont see where you're getting Penn out fo this. its clearly someone not married to their longtime lover....recommitment can mean getting back together for a non married couple. and sean penn is exactly celebrated.

I cannot fathom how anyone could be so desperate, so witless, so pitiful, as to want to have any involvement whatsoever with Sean Penn. I suppose those who have deep psychological problems that include masochism might want to mar themselves by having physical contact with him, but really, can there be that many of them out there?

He always seemed to be "teh gei" to me, but everything fits: "Celebrated actor" (even if it's just for old stuff like Titanic and Cleopatra)
"New Role" could refer either to the resuscitated relationship with Brook, OR his work.
